Hey there, Appalachian offered me a free ride... as tempting as that is, Grundy is a very, very small town in the mountains and I'm not sure I could live there for 3 years. I heard they have a great moot court team... my colleague from George Mason competed against their team and said they gave them a run for their money. Appalachian might be a good choice if you plan on practicing in VA.

congrats to you also! No I actually haven't visited before, both my parents grew up in RI and I have heard the location is beautiful. I think I am going to go visit sometime in June. Are you excited to start?

Thanks, you too! Have you been to the campus yet? I got my Masters Degree from RWU, it is a real nice campus. I met with the dean of career services last week and he seemed to really know what he was talking about and pretty confident in the job prospects subsequent to law school...I think it is a solid choice.

Hofstra

I got into Hofstra off the waitlist last summer - it was towards the end of June. I would send a letter of continued interest, it seemed to work as I got in with a 155 and a 2.79. Just my thoughts. The school is great.
