I was just wondering what your thoughts were on whether or not there is actually a "preferred" wait list or if that is what everyone of the wait-list letters has on it. I got the same letter today and it pretty much seemed to be the typical form letter. I'm thinking about calling up there to ask if there is any difference and if they will tell me how many people they put on the "preferred" list (i doubt i will get any solid info though)
Yeah, I think I will be willing to wait for a while. I really want to go there so (100 times more than LSU) I put down on my reply card that I would be willing to wait until the middle of orientation week (August 17th or so) but more realistically I could wait until about the last days of July and then I would have to move down to the LSU area or FSU. The whole waiting process sucks and the fact that different people at Wake have given me different info (depending on which week I call and who I talk to the info is drastically different) makes it even more frustrating. Have you called up there recently or anything? About how long would you wait before you would have to leave for Richmond?
I think there were two lists, but the non-preferred probably changed to rejects during this round if that was the case. i'm willing to stick it out til aug 13 or so, but would like to know sooner as i'm getting married july 23 and would like to know where we'll be when we return from our honeymoon
I wasn't really looking to go there, but found out i can't get instate at GSU and I like UR much better. Barring an acceptance to Wake, that's where i'll prob be.
