2/12: phone call from Dean Schwartz @ UCLA last night.... good to get the first one.

2/16: Alumni contact email from Duke arrived before my decision did... emailed the office and they confirmed I'm in....

2/26: In @ NYU! Incredibly surprised to come home to a beautiful purple folder, especially since I just went complete 6 days ago...

03/01 Went to decision on UVA and Georgetown Status Checkers....

03/03 Waitlisted @ UVa.... a bit surprised but probably my own fault for applying so late in the cycle... really don't care as I'm still on cloud nine from NYU...

03/08 Preferred Waitlist @ Georgetown... (best Dwight impersonation) "Oh Georgetown, I'm so sad.... I cry myself to sleep every night.... FALSE!

03/12 $60,000 Dean's Scholarship to Duke... interesting....

03/24 Come home from Spring Break to find a $40,000 Dean's Scholarship offer from UCLA and a "Held" notice from Columbia. It's currently looking more and more like an NYU vs. NU decision for me....

03/27 Deferred email from Penn.... no inspiration to send any additional materials.

04/12 Leaving to visit NYU today and get a $90k scholarship offer to NU if I defer for a year... awesome

05/04 Painfully withdrew from NYU... would have gone there in a heartbeat if they just would have given me a little $$$. Called Harvard today and they still haven't made a decision, so I'm guessing waitlist at best. Looks like I'm taking this awesome NU deal...

05/11 Finally rejected from Harvard (my first rejection) and now my cycle is finally complete! See you @ NU in '08
