Thanks and good luck!! The waitlists are driving me crazy--it would be really nice for them just to reject me (or better, accept me)! I consider them a long-drawn out rejection basically, so it'll be ok, but still! GOOD LUCK with everything!!!

Thank you and congrats on your acceptances!! ASU let me know via snail mail that was i dinged, so hopefully you will get a letter that says you're in! DU has an alright reputation in the state. CU-Boulder dominates most of the legal market it seems, from what i've learned from other law students and lawyers in the area. Of course, opinions on this fluctuates quite a bit. it seems like most of the denver legal market is based largely on networking and connections that you can make, so if you went to DU, you should be prepared to do an extensive amount of this. also, DU is highly regional and doesn't seem to have too much mobility outside of denver. at this point i am choosing kentucky as my number 1, since they gave me money and also seems to have much better job prospects in kentucky compared to DU in colorado (also they're not known for giving too much scholarship money and i'm planning to go somewhere with money). BUT all in all if you do well at any law school, i'm sure getting employed won't be a massive issue. and DU is a great school in the city. AND you'll love denver! good luck with your decision and let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck!

Thanks and good luck to you too! I work in Breckenridge which has been sweeet - so if you end up going to Denver you should buy a season pass to come ski up here (they're cheap - only roughly $350). Just to give you some additional perspective on what Colorado87 said - I met with a lawyer who went to DU and he said that CU gets way more attention in regards to bringing in firms to interview and what not. Apparently at DU, you really have to fend for yourself when it comes to internships and job prospects. Also - DU is super expensive and so if you have the money, it may be worth your while. If not - because it's not as highly regarded in the state as CU Boulder - it may be hard to justify going to school there. Anyway - good luck with the rest of your cycle!

thanks

Good luck to you! I similarly chose not to go to Denver--waiting on money, but I doubt I will get any. At this pt, UK is my #1. let me know if you have any questions!

Utah only mentioned that they send merit scholarships by March 5th, and need based ones come later, as late as April sometime. Congrats on Oregon! I'm still waiting on them.
