Thanks, I'm hoping for some good scholarship offers. With a wife and two kids to support while in school, I'll need all the help I can get. I thought about trying for some of the top schools (like Univ of Wash), but I had to think of my family and how much debt I would have after school. Good luck with your cycle!
Thank you! My GPA is actually 3.52 (at least, the one that LSAC reported to schools... I have no idea where they came up with that...) It sucks b/c my degree gpa is 4.0, and my school gpa is 3.77 but the schools don't use those gpas!!! Dang! So I was soooooo freakin' shocked when I got the scholarship! Good luck to you!
Is chicano/ Mexican actually considered to be a URM? I thought it was mainly for Black people, Native Americans, and other specific minority groups. I'm just wondering if your self- selected URM status was actually considered to be an URM on your applications?
