10/20: Unexpected fee waiver from UVA.

11/2: Letter from ND. Waitlisted. =[

11/5: Status checker from W&M almost 2 months after going complete. They also informed me they don't make most of their decisions until March...

11/6: Status checker from Wash U. After lots of consideration and going back and forth, I decided to retake my LSAT in Feb. to try to get off ND's WL and others I am hoping to be on. Back to studying for me.

11/9: I thought I was done applying, but then I got a fee waiver from Loyola in LA, and so I thought I'd try for that, too.

11/15: In at MU!!! My first acceptance. =]

11/23: In a DePaul via snail mail large envelope! Kind of disappointed there's no scholarship info in the packet. =/

12/9: I guess if you register to take the Feb. LSATs, Loyola Chicago refuses to review your file until this score comes in. That being said, there are less spots available by the time this score comes in. So I unfortunately felt compelled to cancel my Feb. LSAT attempt, which might have cost me my chances at some of these schools. It also means I'll have to wait that much longer to see if I get into Loyola Chicago. This was unexpected for me because all the other schools I asked said they would review my application using my previous score, rather than waiting. Oh well...

12/19: Dinged at BC. Expected.

1/4: Decision made at Loyola Chicago. It says it takes 10-14 days until I will receive a decision.

1/7: Large white envelope from Loyola Chicago. I'm in!

1/8: Large white envelope from USD. Accepted there, too. And I just got into Chicago Kent via status checker. This has been the best 24 hours of my lifeee!

1/22: Accepted via large white envelope from SLU. Also, I received scholarship info from Kent while I was out of town. $20,000 renewable per year. =]

1/29: Waitlisted at U of I by e-mail.

3/16: I've officially withdrawn from all but 2 schools I was accepted to. I am finding that the decision between USD and Chicago-Kent is probably the hardest one I've made thus far.

3/30: I've withdrawn from all the schools I've been accepted to except Chicago-Kent. I put down my $600 deposit this weekend.

Congratulations on your acceptance to marquette! I have applied there for a JD/MA Social and Applied Philosophy, I'm complete and under review, but waiting on a decision. So far I have only been dinged by a couple of reach schools, waiting for an acceptance!

Congrats on USD, and all of your other acceptances! Your cycle seems to be going very well and makes me hopeful given that we have similar numbers. Did your status checker change for USD before your received the white envelope? I would love to go there, and my app has been in since September so I've been obsessively checking the mail/status checker.

hi, i am considering kent as a school... i originally did not have them in mind, and haven't visited or anything, but now they made me a scholarship offer that's hard to refuse. how did you choose them, and did you visit? is there anything that stood out in your mind as to why kent v. any other schools? thanks for any feedback!
