it'll be interesting to see where you get in with those numbers especially since mine are awfully close to yours...

I'm very suprised about Georgetown's decision. We are numbers twins, so I'm curious - any idea why they said no? Best of luck with Chicago, NU, michigan and the rest

mind if i ask

Out of UG

I'm a non-traditional student.. aka I dropped out of college and went to work for a few years, and then back to school. I graduate from UG in April. I suspect G-town said no just based on my very low GPA.

Oh wow. Well, my best advice is to put the time into it. Treat it like the most important test you're likely to take anytime soon.. it is. I did 40 hours of study for two weeks before the exam. I took a Kaplan class in the weeks before that (the online features really worked for me). I would take a practice test under test-like conditions, and see where your weakness are. Focus on those until they come up to par with your strengths, and then practice test practice test practice test. That's not, by the way, the "good" advice I'm supposed to give. You're not supposed to do tons of whole tests, but I just figured once I got to the point where I was only dropping a question of two in each section, why not practice the sections in the same ratio they appear on the test, two logical reasoning sections, one logic games, and a read comp... which would be a whole practice test. So.. that's what I did.. just tons of practice.

Thanks! I'm really liking the idea of finally attending a school with a good football team :).

heya - nice job on making the mich waitlist. So far on LSN, you and I are the only ones that got on the WL with a sub-3 GPA. Looks like we're both a bit older (wiser?) than some applicants just out of school, maybe that does in fact help... some... congrats on ND and sorry about NW! Best of luck to you on the rest of the cycle.

Hey Bob, While in the grand scheme of things, my app still being in there is unlikely to effect the lives of any other student, I withdrew some time ago to save the addcomm folk the trouble of reviewing it. Cheers! -Adam
