Loyola's my top choice too! ...along with Pepperdine. Hope our numbers get us in!

hey!

ooo for sure! But i couldn't fully enjoy it today cuz i decided to send a revised personal statement and addendum to all the schools... it was tough! :( But i think u'd have a very good shot at getting in urself! in the worst case scenario, i guess there is a chance (though small) at being waitlisted but even then i'm sure u'd be at the top of the list! But sure do hope we'll get in! ur not by ne chance from k-town r u?

Yeah Loyola was definitely a surprise. I'm applying from out of state, so maybe that had something to do with it. Good luck, I hope you have better luck than I did with their admissions committee!

Loyola

Thanks for congrats! I heard back from Loyola a while ago so I forget exactly how long it took. They were quick though - it didn't take much longer than a month. I saw that you got wait listed at Brooklyn, that's awesome! I have a couple friends at law school in NY and they said that Brooklyn has a great reputation. Good luck and I hope you get into Loyola! let me know how it goes...

congratulations on all of your acceptances. where are leaning towards attending? I was waitlisted at Pepperdine at well. I'm definitely going to sit on it and try my best to get in. I hope they dig into their waitlist this year...i know last year they didn't touch it. ;(

i know... we're the only 160's on LSN waitlisted and it stinks. But your GPA is sooo much higher than mine so you'll get in before me. :) good luck on Loyola. I'm also pending. it's getting ridiculous. been complete since november. But, for me I'm pretty set on Santa Clara because of their IP program unless Pepperdine comes in. Yes, they are my absolute top choice and i'm going to fight to get in. But i don't have high hopes. thanks for the well wishes. I wish you luck with Loyola. I think you'll find out after the first seat deposit. Good luck...

USD

Hey, have you decided on USD? Im trying to squeeze some money out of them, but most likely thats where I'll be in the fall.

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

come on...which city is better to live in...san diego or davis?!? lol

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

no, Davis is the better option. I would of gone if I got in. They place pretty good in socal too. However, as someone who has lived in the small-town-quiet-agricultural atmosphere, it gets old pretty quick. But 3 years shouldnt be too bad. Yea I visit socal occasionally, and I get depressed every time I leave. But thats about to change!

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

oh and I dont see how you get waitlisted at Pepperdine and Davis, when I accepted into Pepperdine and dinged at Davis when we have the EXACT same stats.

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

I decided on USD over Pepperdine b/c im interested in Tax Law and I don't want to work in LA. I probably got in at Pepperdine b/c I played up my "conservative" up bringing lol.

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

Goodluck! although I think you should still go to USD. I hope there arent a lot of liberals in California...this could be bad lol jk

Wednesday, May 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

It's California that is going to be changed for the better! I'm planning on converting all those wacko-liberals.

Pepperdine
