11/23/07 - Applications for 8 schools turned in (Finally!). Not sure whether I will end up applying anywhere else.

11/25/07 - Looks like people with some similar numbers are getting in to some of my schools, namely Michigan, Duke, Georgetown, and UCLA. That makes me feel better about my chances. Now we just play the waiting game though. It could be a long couple of weeks or months.

12/11/2007 - Went "decision" on the G-Town status checker tonight. Should be any day now on that decision.

12/12/2007 - Submitted my last application, to Harvard, based on seeing other people with similar numbers as mine get in.

12/15/2007 - I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL! Accepted to Georgetown! Small envelope, dated 12/10, with a personalized note from the Dean. Not my very first choice, but I wouldn't be disappointed at all to attend this great institution.

12/19/2007 - Call from the Dean of UCLA letting me know that I'm in there.

12/24/2007 - Got acceptance packages from Vanderbilt and Duke. Vandy sent a huge box full of stuff.

02/01/08 - Accepted to Texas.

02/10/08 - Accepted to Boston College.

02/27/08 - Accepted to MICHIGAN! A dream come true! I'm so excited to get this one!!!

02/29/08 - Scholarship to Michigan. Sweet!

03/31/08 - Waitlisted at Virginia. A little disappointed, but I had pretty much ruled this one out anyway, as I would prefer to go to Michigan. Now if only Harvard would make up it's mind...

04/03/08 - Rejected at Harvard. Oh well. My cycle is over, and I can't wait to start at U or M.

Best of luck this cycle! By the way, have you considered adding Harvard? Myself and a few other people on this site got in with very similar numbers to yours. :)

They send you an ID number for the status checker a few weeks after you apply. Best of luck!

LSAC will send the additional letters automatically once they are received. No need to order more reports. :)

I emailed Michigan telling them I wanted to withdraw my application. I think that works for most schools, but with some you have to send in a signed form.
