For the kind words. Hopefully your gpa will help ya out. I hate that we have that score, I, too, took a course but as you see... LOL. Oh well. We will get in regardless of the numbers. Good luck on your apps. I'm rooting for you too!!

The encouragement...

is great! Thank you! I'm hoping my GPA in computer science at Purdue (before grade inflation) will be considered by all of my schools. Now, about that darn LSAT! Good luck to you! Maybe will be the "elders" at Widener this fall!

yes, i know

Thank you...

again. Nice to get over one hurdle. I hope to have some choices, though. I'll keep my fingers crossed with you.

Thank you...

I'm excited. I know the mixed messages about TC, but just to know I'm going is great. I'll take TC over nothing any day!! LOL. I'm keeping my eye on your stats too! Can't wait to see yours roll in.

I have everyone here in my prayers (even the high LSAT scorers). There ( in prayer) is not where I can afford to discriminate. However, two in agreement is even better. So, I will pray that it comes through for you. Be encouraged. Oh, the logger is correct. The thing is that Kaplan uses their own generated test questions. Powerscore utilizes the books of LSAC, which are actually old test. Thus, the questions are not the same. Some say that this is the reason for the score differences when taking the actual test.

lsat different than practice scores.

Hey The difference in your practice scores and your real scores is something that is not uncommon i'm finding. I also scored at least 10 points below my practice exams. I'm trying to understand why. I am planning to get a tutor and take the LSAT again. One user said that the difference might be due to the fact that the newer tests are harder than the ones that are released and that we are able to study with. Do you have any idea why your real score didn't match your practice scores? Thanks!

Hi Blane, Yes, that's the program they've invited me to participate in. It would be at the harrisburg campus too. Although we have the same score your GPA is higher so perhaps that would help a little for you. They may just outright accept you. Either way, I hope it all goes well for ya. Still waiting...

I hope...

you hear good news too. Oh and yes, the program starts in May. I believe it's May 23rd but I'd have to look at the paper again. I'll look tonight and let you know.

Thanks for the congrats! Yes, I\\\'ve been admitted to TAP. I\\\'m seriously thinking about taking it since the job prospects seem pretty good in that region. Wilimington seems like a really good location although I\\\'m a little tired of cold weather coming from the Midwest. :-)

I emailed them through thier contact us form on the website. I got sick of waiting around not knowing. They said that they hadn't made a final decision on my app and that I was being considered for the TAP. The also said that they had already given out the majority of spots but were waiting to see if space became available. All of the decisions would be made final by mid-april. Nothing like waiting to be put on the waitlist for the program that could put me on the waitlist! Good luck!

Good Luck!

Its good to know that I'm not alone and that there are others out there experienceing my pain! As for Vermont, I lived there for 4 years to finish up school, but I'm originally from outside of DC, lived in Atlanta and am now in South Jersey. Looks like the next stop might be Michigan or South Dakota, but I really want to go to Harrisburg!

Are you kidding me?!! That is ridiculous. I haven't heard anything from them yet. They told me mid-april, so I am going to give them another week before I try to contact them. Frankly, I have been in a mental place that I am not getting an offer from them. It helps me sleep. Keep your head up.

Widener news...no news

I haven't heard a thing from them yet. I guess my app was going to be looked at again at the end of April too. I never got in contact with them. It doesn't seem to matter much what they say. Mid-April, mid-May...what's the difference. I have decided that unless they come up with some outrageously good and equally unexpected offer of regular admission or TAP with no cost and free room and board, I am going to Cooley in the fall. As many bad things that are posted about Cooley on the web, they are the only school that has continually shown professionalism and an interest in me. Good Luck to you. I see that you are still pending on a lot of schools...have you just not updated them or are they still up in the air? I got turned down from VT last year, but they had let me know by this time in the game.

Darn...
Friday, December 16 2005 at 07:00 PM

So sorry about Widener. The nerve of them. Do you plan to try someplace else (I see the other schools says not applied) or have you applied and just still waiting?

Well..
Friday, December 16 2005 at 07:00 PM

Good luck to whatever you decide. I say please don't give up on your 'PLAN A'. If that's what you really want, GO FOR IT!! It will work out, I'm telling you. Things will soon fall into place. So, NEXT CYCLE!!! Start getting ready now for that Feb test! :-) or at the very least, just open up your pool of schools. I have similar numbers and you see I'm going and I got into a few places. Maybe even try Widener again and just apply EARLY (like October) so your apps are one of the first batch to get in front of the ad coms. Sorry for the long message but just want to give you that extra LSN push (not like you haven't gotten it elsewhere..LOL) . Anyway, thanks so much for the well wishes. Again, good luck next cycle!

I finally heard back from them in at the end of April...May...I don\\\'t remember. They rejected me. It took them about five months to say no and if it weren\\\'t for me contacting them, they would have just let me dangle there in oblivion. After the way they treated me, and it appears by the way they treated you ( Iassume we aren\\\'t the only two), I\\\'m actually kind of glad. Cooley has been great as far as keeping us informed. Try again next year. THis was my second go around. If its something that you really want to do...you WILL find a way. Good luck to you! And enjoy your summer too!
