It is very much what you imagine it to be. However if you want a good place to live, a more laid back life, and are looking to get married and raise a family, Iowa is one of the best places I have been to do that. But if you want a young, urban life with quite a bit to do, I think you should look towards larger cities. But quite a few Iowa graduates end up in Chicago or Minnapolis. I hope this helps.
Hey, congrats on getting into Cooley. How did they notify you? I applied around the same time you did and still haven't heard anything.
I recieved a large white envelope from them between Christmas and New Years. I was out of town so it was just waiting for me when I got back. It said something about a tuition voucher on the front, so it kind of gave it away that I was accepted. It was my second acceptance so I was excited.
Congrats on St. Thomas! Did they notify you by Email? I am eagerly awaiting their letter (yesterday they Emailed me letting me know it would be coming in about a week). You and I have very similar numbers :) Congrats!!!
Hey! Looks like we are on the same path! Thanks for the note about St. Thomas - hopefully I'll here back this week :) What is your #1 choice? Fireforge is also looking at a lot of the same schools.

Thanks for your insightful response. I've been to St. Paul long ago, and remember it being a neat city. How big is SP? SP has got to be better than OCU Law right? At the moment, I also got into Vermont. Know anything about VLS?
I'm curious to know what your waitlist letter from Creighton said.
I think you may have been deferred, not waitlisted. If they said they are going to review you file again than you have likely been deferred.
Any thoughts on where you are going to go? I see that we are looking at a lot of the same schools. Are you going to the Admitted Student Days at WM or St. T?
What is Iowa like??
