No, I am not applying as an URM. I South Asians are not considered URMs in the law school application process.

Good luck on the LSAT. If you have the free time, take the LSAT as soon as you can. Filling out applications and studying for the test can be a real pain waiting until the last minute. If you clear 173, you should be a good candidate for Stanford or Yale, depending on your passions. Best of luck.

Regarding my time in the service: Yes, at times it was contradictory to my ideals. Iraq in particular was a bitter pill to swallow. Nevertheless, I would serve again were I back at day 1. C'est la vie, I guess. So tell me, fellow libertarian, are you applying in the states, to canadian schools, or both?
