This is it for my applications. I've got a couple of reaches, a couple of likelys, and several safeties. I feel it is safe to say that I will be going to law school somewhere next fall.

12/17/08-- Accepted to Charleston School of Law. Congratulations e-mail from Charleston! I'm officially going to law school somewhere. Charleston's not my top choice but its a relief to know I now have at least one option.

12/18/08-- Accepted to Quinnipiac. Very happy about this!

1/5/09-- Rejected from George Mason, Accepted by Campbell. Regular envelope from Mason, big pleather folder from Campbell. I'm a little disappointed about Mason (plans to possibly live at home with my parents while going to law school are now canceled) but I am happy to get the first of hopefully several acceptances from an NC school.

1/8/09-- Phone call from Roger Williams. They've accepted me and are giving me a full tuition scholarship! Also got a letter from Campbell saying they're offering me $15,000 for the first year in scholarship money. This really makes things interesting!

1/13/09-- Package from Elon, they've accepted me! Letter from DePaul. They've waitlisted me. I thought my chances were better at DePaul. If DePaul has waitlisted me, I think my chances at those other tier 1 schools are not at good as I had hoped.

3/31/09-- Over the last month and a half I've received several wait-list notices from schools like American, Wake Forest, and William and Mary. Today I got an e-mail acceptance from Case-Western, making it the first U.S. News and World Report Tier 1 Ranked School to accept me. I've put a deposit down at Elon since they've given me a full tuition scholarship, but no final decision has been made. Still holding out for UNC and Brooklyn!

Hi bsnyder524- I see that our profiles seem to be somewhat similar. I'm curious what other schools you are looking to apply to (I'm also looking at American). I had a 160, and a 3.23 at UNC-Chapel Hill, and haven't had any legal/govt. internships, but have worked for a non-profit and am hoping my writing skills and interests can make me competitive.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the advice. Unfortunately I didn't have the luxury to take a class because I have a full time job and other responsibilities. I signed up to take the test again for December 6th but I actually still have not made the decision whether or not to take it. It sounds terrible but I just don't know what to do! I hope everything works out for you. I have a friend that is applying to UNC as well. Best of luck with the cycle!

You could say that. Looks like you were quicker to send out your apps though. Also, since youre from NC I hear you will have a better chance at UNC. Best of luck.

I've got a similar record to work with and I'm also applying to UNC, Central, American, and Brooklyn. (already got into campbell - they got back to me super fast!) You'll probably fare well at UNC, they tend to like people that went to other NC schools (being an alum i'm actually at a disadvantage).

Hi-When you were admitted to Campbell, did your online status say "Admit?" Yesterday, my status changed from Under Review to Admit. I know it seems obvious, but I haven't received any correspondence yet.
