Additional info & updates

I am on the waitlist for two schools. I am so tired of people asking me have i gotten into law school. Waitlisted is way more frustrating than just being denied. I've been researching my chances of getting into some of these schools.

Got rejected from my number 2 choice UC Hastings..kind of new i wouldn't get in.

I tottaly love Thomas Jefferson Law School, i hope they let me in. The student and staff there are awesome.

still waitlisted and waiting....waiting...the waiting game is tiring but what can i do this is my dream.

Ps. Please give me your inputs, have some of you all been waitlisted? should i just start applying again for next fall ?

hey I know exactly how you are feeling... we are on the same boat. I couldnt' agree with you more on how difficult it is to wait on the uncertainty, and the "have you heard back from any schools yet?" we have to deal with. I'm also hoping to get into TJSL but am currently "on hold." is it also the same for you? anyway, good luck to you on this cycle.

actually i did

i actually did diversify i did half and half reachable schools such as western state, university of la Verne, TJSL, GCU. I wasn't really feeling going out of state yet for personal reasons unless it's New York where i have family.

Thanks for the kind words!!!

Just keep doing what you are doing? We both have taken the right steps to get us in our current position. Even though it isn't exactly where we'd like to be we still have something to work with and improve. I'm sure you will be fine. There is a seat out there with your name on it. Where in California are you? Where did you complete your undergrad? My bestfriend goes to Thomas Jefferson and he is almost done.

Thank you

I haven't decided yet, I'm waitlisted at American and I desperately want to go there. So in the meantime I sent in the deposit to St. Johns. Thanks for your interest and kind words. I wish you good luck, I'm sure you'll get in.

Waitlisted vs. Pending

Well, look on the bright side. At least you've HEARD from these places. I think it's way more frustrating to not hear anything for so long, even though they've had your application for almost 3 months and the cycle is over, than to just get a waitlist decision. I'd much rather have been waitlisted at the schools I applied to than not hearing anything. Especially since one of them told me it would go to the committee a week and a half ago and I still haven't heard one word from them. I think it's outright ridiculous that these people can simply get paid to sit on their butts and basically do nothing. My LSAT score sucked, too. I did have a very high GPA, but I have much different circumstances. At least you didn't start law school and fall very ill, have to write addendums and hope for miracles. You should be OK. Your determination will get you very far, no matter what anyone else says. Good luck.

Thanks

For the words of encouragement. I know being on the waitlist sucks. But I would rather be on the waitlist for USF over UOP. I'll cross my fingers that we both get off the waitlist soon. Good luck.

when you called them, did they say that they'd contact the students or for you to contact them?
