Just curious... how did you apply to U 0f M? Their website says they don't begin accepting applicaitons until October 1st.

Hey. Sorry my response took a month but I haven't been checking my account. I put the dates as the same for all the schools- it was just the date when I finished all my apps. I can't remember whether I sent my app to U of M before October 1

From a fellow splitter. I'll be paying attention to your results.

You're not a real splitter with that 3.0+ GPA! Picking Wisco over Iowa is unconscionable, but best of luck with Wash U, I'm sure we'll toss you some nice cash.

I'm a 1L actually. I like it a lot, it wasn't my first choice but I definitely have no second thoughts about coming here, it really has exceeded my expectations. Definitely let me know if you have any other questions. And I was teasing about the splitter thing...although I might be a little less willing to accept a Chad Henne lover :) Best of luck with the rest of the cycle!

I thought about NU, but I didn't love it when I went to visit. I wish the law school was not separated from the campus.

If you want to do IP Law, apply to GW and Boston U-They have great programs.

Hey, congrats on accepting wash u! Just curious, what made the difference for u in deciding to go there? I am considering Wash U among a couple of others but I am curious what made you pick there over UCLA?

It was a close choice, but WashU felt like a better fit for me at the end of the day. I had two great experiences visiting WashU and came away feeling at home there. Money and cost-of-living was a factor also. The decision might have been different had UCLA offered 90k and WashU offered 60k.

Any idea why UCLA gave you money when they usually are pretty harsh on people with low GPAs?
