DECEMBER 2006
12/16 - Preferred waitlist from G-town. hottttt.
12/18 - Accepted at BC!!! it's really exciting to have my first acceptance come from a school that I would be really happy attending!
12/22 - In at DePaul with 20k/year! Deferred at Penn. I was expecting a rejection, so this is good news! Now I just need to wow them with some sweet supplemental materials and hope for the best...
12/29 - In at Loyola with money via message left on my cell phone. Sweet!

JANUARY 2007
1/19 - Complete at BU...finally...the dean's cert took forever. Also, got a t-shirt in the mail from DePaul! In my size (how did they know?)! Pretty classy.
1/20 - Acceptance package from Loyola in the mail. Niiiice.
1/22 - In at Wisconsin. The small envelope was a little scary.
1/24 - In at WUSTL via email; in at UIUC via big envelope with scholarship offer. It's been a really good week so far!
1/25 - Got 'passed initial review' email from Boalt. Hoping this means I still have a chance!
1/26 - Finally a decision from NU...deferred. Kind of disappointed, but what can you do? Time to prepare some nice supplemental stuff to send their way.
1/27 - In at GW via email!!! It was a very short email, I almost thought it was a joke at first. Really glad that it wasn't! I'd love to be in DC, but unless they give me some money that probably won't happen...
1/29 - FINALLY complete at University of Washington. How much do I dislike Dean's Certs?
1/30 - 'Held' email from Harvard. Kind of a joke with my numbers, but I'll take it!

FEBRUARY 2007
2/1 - Acceptance letter from WUSTL. Mentions that my app was fwded to the scholarship committee; hoping that means they'll decide to give me dollars.
2/3 - IN at BU!!! With a handwritten comment about my PS on the acceptance letter, very classy. I'd love to be in Boston next fall...but I'm going to have to wait and see what happens with scholarships, etc. It's still too soon to tell.
2/6 - Got acceptance packet from GW. I like the materials and the free t-shirt offer, but am sad about the lack of a scholarship offer. My numbers aren't amazing for them, but anything would help. I'm hoping that maybe an offer of some $ will come in the next few days. Not holding my breath, though.
2/8 - 'thanks for waiting' email from Michigan. I'm happy to not be getting rejected (yet) but these deferrals are kind of irritating. I mean, I'd love to get in to all of the schools I'm deferred at, but if they're just going to reject me eventually, I'd rather get it over with now instead of waiting it out until god only knows when.
2/17 - In at U Washington! I'd love to be in Seattle!

MARCH 2007
3/1 - 22k from Wash U! WAY excited about that. It's among my top choices, and the money would help a lot.
3/1 - Change to decision on UVa status checker dealy. Not terribly optimistic.
3/3 - General non-resident WL at UVa...I feel like that might as well be a rejection. Oh, well. Not sure I'd really fit in in the south anyway.
3/5 - First ding of the cycle at Berkeley. Damn hippies. Also got financial 'aid' from BU, consisting of nothing but loans. My EFC was 0. Seriously? I'll probably withdraw from there soon.
