GPA 3.8-4.0

Dates are approximate estimates.

Money is per year.

My cycle is sort of over. Looks like I'll be attending the first school that accepted me and made waiting a lot easier(yay, BU!), but I'm still going to stay on some of my waitlists...you never know. =P

Okay now it's between UW v. BU.....do I want to practice in the NW or NE region? simple question, tough decision =P

still can't decide...and I have until this Friday to tell UW (6/22)

Come to UW! I've heard nothing but great things about the school and city. Either way though you have 2 really great choices. Congrats!

I have a buddy who's just finishing his first year at the law school and he loves it. Although I haven't visited, I've heard the law school itself is beautiful as well as the campus as a whole. I've also heard the small student body leads to a very collegial atmoshpere and lots of contact with professors. Plus UW is the best school in its region (i don't think Boalt and Stanford count as the PNW)! If you went to BU you'd be one student at a very good law school in a town flooded with students from many very good law schools. But really, I don't think you can make a bad choice here. Like you pointed out, the decision comes down to being in NW or the NE. Good luck whatever you decide!

I visited UW and it was sooo nice, but when you get down to business it isn't even in the same league as BU. On employment prospects, avg. 1st year salary, facuilty quality and most importantly NATIONAL PRESTIGUE. BU is a top 20 that can land me a job anywhere in the US, and UW is a good school that can land me a job anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. Plus, I just LOVE Boston, and Seattle is super depressing! Feel free to email me and I'll give you more info. / answer any specific questions you may have. Good luck with your decision! :)
