Additional info & updates

$$$ is amount per year

I did my undergrad in Colorado and would like to live elsewhere for a couple of years, but in-state tuition at CU will be tough to give up - and the new law building is incredible!

I'm feeling like an idiot for applying to so many schools. I thought I'd be competive at most of them, but I now realize I could have been a little more selective and still had good choices. Well, you live and you learn.

12/22 - Yellow envelope with acceptance packet from CU

1/16 - Acceptance letter from Tulane - scholarship to follow

1/19 - Email from Iowa stating I have been accepted! Letter from Minnesota declaring my application had been deferred.
Letter from Temple stating I had been placed on the waitlist. I was given the option to explain my desire to attend temple. I got the feeling that if I chose to do this, I would have a good chance of acceptance. I do not want to go to Philly, so I will withdraw my app.

1/25 - Call from Loyola-Chi stating I have been accepted! I'm not a big fan of wind, but a large scholly might sway me :)

1/29 - Letter from American stating I've been placed on the waitlist.

1/30 - Acceptance email from Baylor with 1/2 tuition scholarship

2/2 - regular sized envelope from Vanderbilt with letter stating that I have been waitlisted. I feel VERY good seeing as Vandy was a big reach for me!

2/5 - regular sized envelope from U. Arizona with acceptance and scholarship!

2/5 - regular sized envelope from BC with rejection :(

2/9 - Nice packet from Lewis & Clark with acceptance and scholarship offer.

2/17 - Acceptance packet from Drake

2-20 - First class envelope from WF with acceptance letter

2/26 - Large envelope from Oregon with acceptance and scholarship

3/36 - WAITLISTED at UVa!!!!! I know this is basically just a prolonged rejection, but I'm in awe right now. All I can do now is hope for one more miracle.

When you arrive in Boulder, you're going to be faced with a dilemma. The Colorado Pass offers unlimited Breck and A-Basin with ten days at Vail, while the Super Pass supplies unlimited Winter Park and Copper. Partial to the back bowls, I must suggest the CO Pass, but some (mogul skiers for instance) prefer WP's Mary Jane. Iowa, yeah?

you did your UG here, so you know that

I received an email notifying me of my acceptance and then a later email with the scholarship info. The first email was sent by the Chair of the Faculty Admissions Committee, Mr. Leatherberry. I have not yet recieved my mailed acceptance - I think it went to my permanent address rather than my current address. Hope this helps.

thanks!

hey, thanks! congrats on UW too :) Maybe I'll see you in the fall (I'm still deciding haha but hopefully a visit to both schools will help). I'm curious to know what good things you've heard about UW though!
