Additional info & updates

$15,000/yr scholarship from Pace!

Nothing about scholarships from Syracuse- which I'm pretty upset about. I was quite interested in that school, but I really don't think I can go somewhere that doesn't offer me *any* money- unless it was Georgetown or American.

In the same day, rejected from Temple. This doesn't make me too optimistic about Rutgers and American (and certainly not Georgetown).

Disappointed about American, but not entirely surprised. I have some hope for Rutgers stil. The fact that my LSAT and my GPA are higher than the average pending scores means something, right?
At this point, I'm hoping I can work my ass of first year and transfer to where I really want to be: Georgetown. I hope I'm capable and keep the motivation up.

WAITLISTED AT PSU?!?! What the hell. It must be because I applied so late- the end of December... but they didn't send me a fee-waver until then. Dammit.
I'm hoping by some crazy stroke of luck, Rutger's applications are way down this year and they let me in. To the higher powers of law school applications, I beg you, oh pretty pretty please, help me out.

5/01 Offer from PSU to go part-time. It's a new program, just aproved by the ABA. It involves taking one less class the first two semesters, and then taking those classes over the summer, starting second year full-time, and still graduating in three years. I'll take it! I got an email about it, snail-mail will follow.

Pace and Syracuse are good schools (still waiting on Syracuse). I am really surprised about Penn, that pretty much lets me know I have no chance =( Especially since my apps were way later! Good luck on everything!

What campus did you commit to? I will be at University Park in the fall and I would love to talk to some classmates from either campus. Feel free to drop me an email if you have any question since I have been a Penn State student for a few years already. Hope to see you in the fall. Good luck.
