These are all schools I applied to last year, the Chiashu odds at each of these schools, and what the decision was last year and this year. Last year I applied with a 3.77 165. This year I applied with a 3.69 168M.

yeah, the lsat is a beast. i swear that rarely a day goes by that i don't consider retaking the lsat. if not for school, but for me. i'm kind of just looking for an excuse. the only thing that gives me pause is the transfer option. i would likely get into a top 20 from a tier 2. that would likely put me where i would have been with a 160, but with a 30k savings.

I think for almost everyone it would be a bad thing. If you can dramatically improve your LSAT, then it is worth it (but you would need probably about 7 or 8 points to make a difference at a school where you applied this year). If there is a school you would like to go to but didn't apply to because your LSAT was out of reach and it has a very favorable multiple LSAT policy, 5 points is probably enough on its own. As far as personal statement and LOR, I used two letters from last year but supplemented with two more. And the advice I received from the director of admission at UCLA was not to change a word on my PS. That, I think, turned out to be bad advice to apply across the board. If I had to do it again, I'd request feedback on my PS from every school I was reapplying to.

Thank you so much...

Hello thank you for the kind words of encouragement. I have never even heard of Phoenix Law but I did look at their site, and I will be applying. I have an app in at FAMU I am just waiting on an answer. Thank you again and God Bless You
