Columbia

Hey, did you think about adding Columbia to your list?

Columbia Response

I am thinking no to Columbia right now because NYC is not a good fit for me. So then, why NYU? I have a lot of friends that are 1Ls there now and I think that if I did go to any school in NYC it would have to be one where I would see a few familiar faces.

Congrats!

Congrats on Harvard and Duke (they're helping to make decisions easier on you). What do you think made you an autoadmit at HLS?

Congrats

It took a while. I would say maybe 2 weeks. Let me know when you decide which admit weekend to go to!

I love all these truthful people who are so honest and proud of themselves they log comments in anonymously. I guess in response to a question from a URM about what I think put me over the top as a URM, I should have said: "nothing. Just use a darker pen when playing the race card."

Not every URM gets into law school, not every URM with a 163 gets into harvard. HLS is not an easy school to get into period and since you got in with relative speed then there is something more to you than numbers. I thank you for your advice. Don't bother with those URM or not who wish that they were in your position or that you were not in your own position because of their insecurities. Your acceptance doesn't discount any HLS achievement nor any other student admittance. Thank you and enjoy HYS.

On Harvard! What an amazing accomplishment! I hope you won't let any naysayers take that away from you or make you any less proud of what you've achieved. Best of luck with the rest of your cycle!
