I hope you are admitted! I didn't do anything extra, just lucky I heard so soon I guess... Here's hoping we both get into UCLA too!

Vandy Waitlist

I was happy that it was not a rejection.. or at least not yet anyways. Vandy has an amazing campus and an incredible law school so I would def. consider it if I were to get in, however I am really hoping to out west(USC, UCLA), and really getting anxious about not hearing anything from the schools I want to hear from the most. I'm going to stay on the waitlist and see what happens in the next few weeks... it could potentially become my number one choice.

3 consecutive waitlists...

I've received 3 consecutive letters with delightful "you've been placed on the waitlist" message... Does anyone have any strategies or suggestions on how to get accepted off the waitlist? Thanks.

Waitlists

I share your waitlist dilemma; from everything I've heard, be sure to contact each school every 2-3 weeks reaffirming your interest and to include further detail as requested. If able, provide additional recs and supplemental information, but not if it will just weigh down your file. I've also offered to fly out and interview, spend more time answering questions; essentially, whatever they want. It seems like overkill, but since we're only a file to the admissions committees, there aren't many other options. I hope you're admitted off the waitlist. Good luck to you!
