I think you might be the guy I talked to at a WV Power game about the LSAT. Best of luck!
Unless you were dead set on UK that UC acceptance should wipe away any disappointment. Virtually they have the same ranking. Pretty sweet...good luck on where ever you end up. Oh and by the way its gonna get ugly this week ;)
Let me be the first to congratulate you on Louisville! I can't wait to go home and check my mailbox now!! Well done!
It arrived after the acceptance by a few weeks. Congrats!! If you had to make a jump decision today where would you go?
Congrats on your many acceptances. My LSAT score is slightly higher than yours, but we have almost the same GPA. The reason I mention this is that we have applied to alot of the same schools - so that gives me hope in spite of our low percentages to get into those schools. GL with the rest of your apps! PS - if you a cubsfan (sn?).... go SOX. lol
Your application must have been well put together. Congrats. I'd love to chat with you about Louisville.
What is your opinion about Akron out of curiousity?
Thanks. I really liked that they called with the acceptance information. That was really cool. Other than that, I am a big fan of their low tuition. Honestly, I don\\\'t know very much about the school. I hope to visit in the next month or so. So far, I am impressed though. I heard they have a great IP department if you\\\'re interested in that.
I'm originally from Nitro, so I'm pretty familiar with Huntington. Here's wishing you get a nice surprise in the next few days.
You're right about the LSAT scores to get into UK. Did you find their rejection letter a little on the harsh side?
I don't think I'm going to get in either, but I can hope.
Thanks for your comment. Good luck with OSU!
Congrats on Ohio State
I actually haven't gotten the letter yet, just an e-mail welcoming me to an open house as an accepted member. My mail also hasn't come yet today.
I am sincerely amazed. This is the biggest success story i've seen. Seriously congrats. Someone should beat the odds. PS. Residency in OSU is way better then Louisville.
Congrats! Is that your 1st choice?
Big day for us average numbers types. Can't believe my USD accept.
Are you going to the OSU open house at the end of March?
Wow. I am seriously shocked. Now that you have been accepted to schools like Ohio State and UC, that makes this waitlist almost seem funny! Oh well. You have much better options!
Huh. I don't know what's going on with them. I am guessing that they are trying to increase their LSAT medians this time around, or something, but that's just ridiculous. Oh well. Their school is ugly, anyway! :) Congrats on the Charlotte money!! Also, are you still considering Louisville? It would probably be hard to after getting into OSU, but that is one of my top choices right now. Do you have any thoughts on this school? I need to go visit!
I am glad you are hearing good things about Louisville because that is at the top of my list now. I am eager to hear from Buffalo, but that might be to far away. So, I think I will be chosing between Louisville, Ohi Northern (because of the money), and Buffalo. I like Indy a lot, but it's a lot more money than Louisville. At this point I would have to say that Louisville is in the lead, but I am waiting for my finacial aid info to go through, so we'll see. It would suck to be 100,000 grand in debt, but it looks like my best option!
Did you receive any info on when the open house will take place? I haven't gotten anything yet.
I missed your message/question. It was Louisville.
Good job on Ohio... you beat me!
Hey. What do you mean "if" you can get in state residency?
Hey. What do you mean "if" you can get in state residency?
congrats on OSU. what is the OSU directory you mentioned?
Thanks! They sent a letter two weeks ago or so. It is my understanding that scholarship offers are on-going....I'm still trying to decide what to do, and I've aged 10 yrs in the process!
Any word from WVU on financial aid package? I have a touch higher LSAT than you but a good deal worse GPA (damn those "practice" years) and it looks like I didn't make the cut for the first round of scholarships, but am holding out hope for something, at least enough to make private loans unneccessary. The real question is, what side will you sit on at the Marshall game?
I would have probably taken since the isn't too much different, but that's just me. With the summer job you could get from OSU the first/second year, you could pay off most of that difference anyway, right? At any rate, I hope you do well next fall. Good luck and congrats!
See you in the fall.
Our lists look really close! We applied to a lot of the same schools! It'll be interesting to compare acceptances in the next month.
