Have you ever considered an animal law specialization at Pettit School of Law?
I know absolutely nothing about scholarship money except for the fact that someone on here has a 3.9 and a 155 and got 10k when he met with the Dean.
The sn is Schiffty05...they are listed under accepted at Wayne.
haven't heard anything yet, but I have a vague memory that they said we'd hear something by mid-Feb. ...
I must maintain a 3.3. Congrats on getting in to all those places. Good luck with the rest
Yea, I got 15k a year. I don't remember what the GPA level was but I think it was the 3.3 like yours
on some great acceptances. We have applied to alot of the same schools!!
Thanks for the tip loyola
I went to "Decision" the same day at OSU as you did. Today I got a large envelope from them and got excited. It was a scholarship application they say they sent out to everyone who is a minority (Which I'm not). Tricksters. I'm not expecting to get in though.
CONGRATS. We both had doubts and we're both in at OSU. Great news.
...Any scholarship info? Mine was just a letter saying I was accepted and some other documents for seat deposits.
here you go. thanks in advance.
Haven't received the Open House info yet. I figure they will talk about it in the Chat tomorrow. Hopefully.
OSU will have an open house on March 10, March 31, April 1, April 8.
Wayne State remains among my top choices, but don't worry.. I should be withdrawing from a few schools in the upcoming weeks.
with the rest of your apps. Out of all the places you've been admitted I would go to Loyola Chicago. I visited there over the summer and they have shiny new facilities. ITB - Kaz
Its $5K renewable
it is close enogh that i could commute there if need be
Ta's
I got a letter yesterday from them -- regular size envelope but kinda thick with several pages. Your LSAT is higher than mine, so hopefully you will hear good things very soon! Good luck.
nothing scholarship info from wayne at this point...probably going to withdraw shortly
Good luck with that last app!!
OSU weighs UGPA more heavily than the other schools to which I applied. Acceptance to Illinois or Wash U was significantly more likely despite their higher rank because of this.
For instance, your index at OSU is higher than your index at Wash U. The opposite is true for me.
Do you know if being a URM still works if you're not either black, hispanic, or asian? Would it work if you're european? Just wondering. Thanks. OhioState isn't bad at all. Nice!
No, no scholarship offer in my Wayne letter...and I seriously doubt that I will get one...I'm an in-state applicant and Wayne tuition is already cheap as it is...
