Additional info & updates

11/19 - In at Ole Miss via phone call.

12/3 - In at Denver via e-mail. Status checker had said 'Decision Processed' since yesterday.

12/4 - Call from Pacific McGeorge. Accepted with a $15,000/yr. scholarship. Woot!

12/15 - In at LSU via phone call.

12/30 - Haven't heard from anyone in a while. I've been deferred to the regular decision pool at a couple schools. The longer winter drags on and snow keeps falling, the more I hope to see an acceptance to ASU. If they admit me... the cycle's over. I'm dying to get back to Phoenix, and a rejection from them would be utterly soul-crushing.

1/7 - Still haven't heard any decisions from anyone recently. I'm under second review at Santa Clara. I applied EA to ASU so I'm hoping to hear from them in the next week or two. Definitely my first choice school. I woke up this morning unable to go to work because there was a foot of snow on the ground. I'm ready move back to Arizona.

1/19 - I thought that January was going to be a pretty big month for the law schools situation. It really isn't turning out to be. As you can see above, The only decisions I've gotten this month are two rejections. One from Illinois, the other from Florida State. No big surprises. Illinois was an extreme reach, and even if I had gotten in, I wouldn't have gone under just about any circumstances. Florida State is a bummer not because I really wanted to go there, but because I fear what it means for the rest of my cycle. It's stats are more similar to the schools that I actually really want to go to. I'm hoping for an answer from ASU by the end of the month. Still my first choice. If they let me in then it's back to the Valley of the Sun!

1/31 - So uh... January has come and gone, and the month where I thought I was going to hear a bunch of decisions turned out to be the month where I didn't hear any. Hmm... Arizona State was supposed to let me know by the end of January, but I guess that isn't happening. Looks like folks just started getting decisions Friday, so maybe tomorrow will be it.

Haha, I really hope you didn't include that on your resume. Otherwise, that is very funny. Good luck with your applications!

Looks like we're (almost) number twins and I see we're applying to the same schools. Good luck! And congrats on the Mcgeorge acceptance! Hopefully, the acceptances will roll in for both of us :)

I'm hoping to go to either UCD or Lewis and Clark/University of Oregon. How about you?

Ole Miss

Went to undergrad at Ole Miss & still live in Oxford if you have any questions. How does OM rank for you?

Agreed

I have the exact same feelings. The most attractive thing about Ole Miss is the price and the new building, but that is about it. Job prospects seem good, but like you said, only in MS, which I'm ready to leave. Oxford would be fun, but there are already too many lawyers here.
