I know, isn't that weird! I'm kind of torn..I'm from Dallas and my Dad went to SMU so I want to go there for that reason. TX Wes isn't too bad because it's only in Ft. Worth, however, I don't care for the location of the school too much, and it'd be a far commute from my parent's house if I decided to live at home. Then I went to Tech for undergrad so I wouldn't mind going back, granted I don't know anyone there anymore because I graduated nearly a year ago. Plus, my numbers aren't that great compared to their averages, etc. I have some good recommendation letters though, one from a long time family friend who was a Tech Law professor for 13 years. Other than those choices, I'd say St. Mary's is probably my next choice. Although, if I get offered any scholarship money to any of the schools other than Tech/SMU/TX Wes, that'll probably play a factor in my decision. What about you??
Well, at least you were waitlisted! I haven't heard ANYTHING! I've only received a waitlisting letter from Tulsa. I'm just really nervous that my LSAT is too low. I keep thinking my other qualities and GPA will offset that, but who knows. Stats keep getting better year after year! On the schools that you've received acceptances from, how long do they give you to decide?
No, I haven't received it yet. I haven't been accepted there though. Is it just an open house? I'm actually in Toronto right now traveling for work. I work for a marketing agency in Dallas right now. I graduated from Tech in December of 06. I had my roommate check the mail and I finally received my first acceptance--not a top choice, OCU, but it's an acceptance! What does the letter say about the open house?

How long did your status for Texas Wesleyan say "Application Under Review" before it changed to "Deceision Mailed and Rendered"? I got an e-mail SEVERAL weeks ago saying my application was under review and that a decision would be mailed within 4 - 6 weeks, but it has been 7 weeks now. Just wondering because they don't seem to be on time in making their decisions... As far as OKCU, it IS exciting to know that I am accepted somewhere! Would have been nice to have some scholarship $ to go along with it though.

That's really exciting for you! I still haven't heard from ANYONE really...I called St. Mary's today, but all they said was no decision has been made, but my app is complete. Geez, everyone is taking their sweet time! I'll keep you updated!
