Thanks! Yea, we are pretty close in just about everything. Good luck to you too! I'm sure you'll do great.

btw, your numbers are solid and I'm *sure* you'll end up with some choices out of your list, but why didn't you apply to any safeties or at least Georgetown/Cornell which are a bit lower than your current list numbers wise. You don't have to apply to a crazy amount of schools like me, but I think it might be prudent to apply to 1 or 2 more schools, especially since they might offer money that you could use to leverage for aid from some of your higher ranked choices. It's all up to you of course. Good luck!

Sounds good. I wish I could wait as well in case I don't get into my top choices (Columbia/NYU), but I really don't think I would be happy taking another year off. I'm pretty pumped and ready for law school and just waiting to start in the fall is hard enough! Good luck and hopefully you won't have to go through the full process again!

HI, I was at GWU. It was just getting restarted at GW when I joined -- I was in the second class in it's restart. I was at the APO conference at American in 2002 (maybe it was 2003?). Best of luck in your cycle -- you have great numbers so i'm sure you'll get somewhere wonderful!

Thanks. I don't actually know if I'm in yet (the actual decision comes in the mail), but its nice to know I have my first decision on the way.

Hi, looks like we've both applied with similar numbers to similar schools, and all at the eleventh hour! Here's hoping we get our feet in the door!

i'm curious if you've recieved a KB1 yet, btw. With your numbers and URM status I'd be surprised if you didn't.

Thanks. I wouldn't completely give up on Harvard. If they send out a final batch of calls I'd bet you'd be on it. UVA is a great choice though and hard to turn down with that generous scholarship. Stanford is another amazing option that would be hard to say no to as well. If you haven't already, I would strongly recommend trying to leverage your UVA scholarship for some money at any other schools you might be interested in. While I haven't had any luck with negotiations this cycle (T14 schools don't consider Vanderbilt a "peer" school), but I've seen lots of people do so successfully in the past. I don't know if Stanford gives out $$, but if they did that would probably be the ultimate package. Good luck!
