Also on a side note i decided not to rank my schools because scholarship amounts will affect my decision more than most.

Additional info & updates

Please don't ask me to withdraw from any schools. I'm waiting on a response from UNLV and a few scholarship offers and then i will start withdrawing from any school i think there is no chance i will be attending.

Scholarship info is per year

11-19- Akron woo kinda a safety but cost of living and decent wages make it tempting.

11-20 In at Dayton via phone call (the guy was really nice) Weird both Ohio schools got back to me before anyone else.

11-30 Georgia rejection as expected, find it funny that I have a better chance at both W&M and W&L to at least be waitlisted and they're better schools.

12/01 Dayton letter came today, no scholarship info until mid December, still nice to have it in hands though.

12/04 Akron Letter Today, no scholarship info until Mid Feb. Hopefully it's a pretty good scholarship I know they offer some pretty stellar ones and that just might convince me to go there.

12/05 Gonzaga went complete yesterday at some point. (just checked my email) Hopefully more info soon not as close to home as Seattle, but no one besides my boss has said stellar things about Seattle, although i took my lsat there and it's a wonderful campus.

12/09 In at Albany it was in review since 10/7 but when i called last month they said their admissions had been traveling to various law fairs around the country so things got pushed back. No email or phone call just a update to accepted via status checker. Curious about $$ possibilities.

12/15 Albany package arrived 20,000 per year as long as i stay in the top 50%. Better than most schools who seem to either want a 3.0 or better or top 25%. Still kind of pricey after the scholarship though.

12/17 Decision Mailed from Catholic. Now we play the waiting game.

12/28 Waitlisted at catholic. At their 75th percentile LSAT and 25th percentile GPA really annoyed, Lsac had me at above 75% and I was actually expecting a small scholly. Needless to say I immediately withdrew

1/07/ Spent Last night going through all the Campuses online and possible scholarships plus teaching methods and the cities each school is located in. Gonzaga and Akron became more interesting everyone else remained pretty much the same.

1/08 Accepted at Quinnipiac Scholly info to follow in the mail. Not a bad option for me close to my extended family.

1/11 Quinnipiac Scholarship info arrived today 28,000. Dean's scholarship which i applied for doesn't have it's finalists decided until march 5th.

1/12 Withdrew from Dayton last night, gonzaga went from complete to in review.

1/18 In at Willamette via standard mail saturday 21,000 a year debating about withdrawing right away. Does anyone know if it's true that they stack all their scholarship students together?

1/28 In at Santa Clara 10,000 a year not a bad option an close to home.

1/29 In at Seattle Via status checker. Hopefully the mailing has scholarship info. I hope i get the mail tomorrow I'm only a hour drive away :)

2/3 Seattle Info came in today 7,000 per year not bad and close to home

2/11 Decision Made from Gonzaga- They only mail stuff ugh. The wait continues.

2/12 Akron scholarship 29,000 a year. requirements are steep to keep it though.

2/18- Still waiting on my Gonzaga package the letter was generated last thursday. If it's a pretty good scholarship good chance i'll be considering them heavily and withdrawing from a few other schools.

2/19 In at Gonzaga with 14,500 a year hoping for more going to try and negotiate for a better scholarship. I was pretty set on attending Gonzaga but now I'm really unsure.

3/3 Negotiated with Albany for more scholarship money and it worked. Wooo makes them way more appealing now.

3/8 Withdrew from Akron didn't like the scholarship requirement at all. Now if UNLV will get back to me my decision could get easier. Contacted Quinnipiac about the Dean's and Faculty scholarships and not all these have been given out yet so still some hope.

3/11 Decision Mailed from W&L I'm ready for a waitlist or rejection.

3/12 Waitlisted at W&L figured it would happen going to try a phone interview maybe it'll help who knows

3/19 Rejected at william and mary i wish they could have done that so much sooner i was treating as a rejection anyways nice to have it official.

3/19 Withdrew from Willamette today trying to slowly get to my decision. UNLV speed it up!

3/26 Still waiting on UNLV but decided to withdraw today from Santa Clara

4/9 Withdrew From Gonzaga today. No decision from UNLV but it looks like I'll either put down a seat deposit at Albany or Seattle Monday. Any suggestions as to which one?

4/14 Withdrew from Albany and Quinnipiac and put my deposit down at Seattle. Still would prefer UNLV but I'm still pending there.

4/16 Waitlisted at UNLV wow that could have been done months ago i guess they're just slow and probably didn't put much thought into my application after all. Attending Seattle for sure now. (Also i got UNLV's decision about an hour after emailing them letting them know i was still interested maybe they just forgot to update my file.)

Hello, were you initially deferred to regular admissions at Santa Clara? I see you applied in Sept well before the early application deadline... just trying to see if there's hope for me yet =) THANKS!

Definitely do let me know how things go with Akron! Its not like I don't plan on getting top 10%, but so does every one else who attends law school. :P

Oh well that's what I figured. Thanks for asking for us!

Akron's Scholly

At least Akron has the 2/3 and 1/3 level, most just have a 1/2 level or nothing that said, it is absurdly high standards

same boat

Oh, I am in the same boat, with the risk not being worth it if I can not be in that top 10% right now though, dont even know if I will enroll anywhere for next year
