Were you waitlisted at scu or did they send you a letter saying they would look at your file again with the regular admissions?

I also got waitlisted at Catholic. Let's just hang in there and be glad we didn't get rejected! (because since I didn't get an e-mail I was expecting a rejection also). Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

I e-mailed them since I was at a different address than my current one and asked if they could mail it to my permanent address, and Loyola just told me via email I was in.

good luck the rest of this cycle... I also just rcvd the pre-admit F/A info in the mail from SU...not sure why though since no decisions yet...it was cute too cuz my son ran in my room & said mom, u got a letter from SU & it's not small...lol

Indy sent me an e-mail that said "Congrats you've been accepted we are sending a package in the mail." Given your numbers, I am sure you will be receiving one of those soon as well! It's definitely not on the top of my list, but my grandfather went there back in the 50's and they sent me a fee waiver, so what the heck!

My status at Indy still says "Complete" so I dont know. The email said they have reviewed my file and are going to review it again at a later date in the cycle. When did you apply?

I didn't apply early decision and never did get a status checker email so i don't know much about my progress prior to the acceptance. Sorry :) i bet you'll get in with money though.

Hey, I just checked my status and all it said was "decision letter sent 3/16" which I assume is a rejection.

No deposits or due dates showed up on my status checker and I got the WL email a few days later....hopefully this bodes well for you!

I know, right? The "confusing" letter arrived on Tuesday and was dated December 22. I get the feeling they rejected me back then, lost the letter in a pile somewhere, and then tried to save face by making up some story about a skewed mail merge. I honestly don't think their story is very credible. Someone should fire whoever does their admin work since that person is obviously incompetant. Yet another reason why I'm glad I won't be attending. Congrats on Indy!! That's so exciting. They sure took long enough to make a decision, but at least it was a positive one! :-)

Actually, I think I missed the EA deadline but about 2-3 days. My file was complete 11/20. But yeah, I've been under review this whole time and finally got an acceptance 2 days ago. Are you hoping to go to Santa Clara? Good luck!

Fellow Waitlistee. Congrats on McGeorge and Indy! Have you heard anything from SCU? Were you also in 2nd Review on 1/05? I was and still am. Let me know if you see any updates with SCU. It's my top choice (I applied FT & PT)

SCU has a lot of withdrawls... and, of course, LSN is only a small fraction of the truth.

yeah, I am not sure... I guess it is better than a rejection. Honestly, I am not even going to write an LOCI. I am happy with Rutgers and don't really want to put much more effort into this whole application process. If a school wants me they should accept me like Rutgers and not put me on this stupid wait list. I mean look how many I have!!!

I don't blame you. Santa Clara is a great school and beautiful campus! I can't believe how long they're taking with your apps...have you tried to call the admissions office and check on the status?

Haven't decided between the two -- I like the UOP package, but I'm not too sure about employment prospects compare to USF in the Bay Area post-grad. I too am still waiting for SCU, and barring some kind of miracle, UC Davis. Good luck!

Sorry about the SCU waitlist. I had a feeling they were going to do that to us. I'm sure they will let you in though! I am going to withdraw from there too. lol. I have my heart set on one school and I can't get myself to write a check to anyone else. Oh well. Good luck to you as we continue to wait!
