Thanks for your good wishes - and best of luck with your applications. Man, it's going to be good to have this over with, don't you agree?

Berkeley

Cal's definitely one of my top choices, too--I mean, I'd rather UChicago, but if I get a chance at that, I'll pretty much explode [with happiness]. I've gone to Berkeley the last few years, and really do love it here, but I don't know what kind of dynamic "returners" bring, you know? I got an email in the morning, subject line being fairly obvious: "You've Been Admitted to Berkeley Law School!"

Don't worry!

Facutly Review

I did send on a letter to Boalt back in December that included both updates to my resume and and little "why berkeley" spiel. When I called they said they'd add it to my file, so i'm pretty sure the adcomm saw it, and clearly it didn't hurt. All and all, I would recommend sending one, it made me feel better and like i had some autonomy over the process (though it was clearly already out of my harnds). honestly the only concern I had in sending it was that I was expecting a waitlist and have no clue what I would've done then having already spend my LOCI card before hearing. Hope that helps!

thumbs up!
