Congrats on UF

Congrats drapes... I'm really hoping for the go ahead from UF, I worry about the fact that my GPA's a little low but I guess I'll find out very soon. We've applied to many of the same schools so i'll be watching for updates. Also, if u don't mind my asking, are u a FL resident?

Hi! You and I have similar numbers and I was also deferred at Duke. Did you letter ask for more information or did it just say that they did not make a decision yet? What do you think about getting a deferral?

I never got a "file under review email" but I did get an email when my file wasn't complete due to something I forgot to put in it. After that, I called the school to see if it was complete, and about two and a half weeks later I was in.

Work Experience?

Hey...are you applying right out of college or do you have some work experience? Just wondering! Thanks

I would only accept a spot in a fulltime program.

Thanks for the response. I am REALLY looking forward to going there in the fall. Both of my visits went very well and I came away more impressed from Maryland than from any other school I visited (except maybe Georgetown). The students were all bright and friendly as was the faculty I met. I have lived in B-more for 5 years and I can say the area around the law school has undergone an amazing change and is now one of the hottest areas in the city. The law school facilities are amazing and UMD owns about 60 building in the area(and growing) with all Maryland's professional schools. It's a great place to study law and I am so glad you chose it for next year.
