congrats on santa clara! question for you - how and when were you notified? i was told it would be via phone call - if so, how did the phone call go? You're numbers are very similar to mine...this gives me hope!

I emailed them about 3 weeks ago asking if i was waitlisted. they told me my file was "on hold" and sometme in LATE MAY, early June, they'd let me know if i was accepted, waitlisted, or rejected. still waiting... and waiting... What do you think, should I write them again? I'm thinkin' they'd get pissed off and annoyed and thus reject my file... But you go to FSU, what's up with their admissions office. Do they hire retarded people? Maybe it's that we need them more than they need us and so they take their time, not giving a fuck about the people's lives they've placed on hold.

Hey, Well if I don't get off the waitlist for UF I think I will attend Stetson. I am really hoping I get off the waitlist though!! There's hope right? What are you going to do?
You posted asking me to withdraw from UF, but at the time, I was planning to attend. Since then, I got a nice financial offer from Emory, so I will be going there. I have withdrawn after paying the first deposit. I hope it helps you get in.
The only difference I can see in our applications is that I am from out of state and thus I bring the $$,$$$ vs. in-state $,$$$. I don't see a difference otherwise unless one of my letters of recommendation played on some heart strings. But I sure hope you get in! Some more CS would be nice to balance out the poly sci and english majors.
