I don't know if I am going to re-take the LSAT in December. I have until November 1st to register, and I haven't really been studying. Maybe I'll just roll with the 150 this cycle. If I am 0/27, then I'll re-evaluate my situation. :)

I thought about applying other places, but I didn't much see the point. My LSAT is such that anywhere else in CA i would have any interest in attending is out of reach. I also have no "disadvantaged" qualities that might tip me into the accepted list. Who knows, I may transfer or not, again, just depends on a lot of things. Thanks for your words though and I wish you the best of luck as well!

Hey, sorry it took me so long to respond. Widener doesn't tell you when you're complete. I gave them about 10 days after they requested my report and assumed it was complete because by then all my supplemental material, etc. had already been sent in. Hope this helps.

i got a letter from SU... i'm being considered for the Alternative Admission Program. Not a flat-out rejection! YES!

Of the schools you are applying to, hich take multiple lsat scores? Please respond? Where did you go to get all the info on that?

have you called widener for your app status? they are really nice on the phone. also, i think this would give you an opportunity to show your interest in the school. i don't know if that is where you are trying to go but i can say that there are very few schools in philadelphia. you have PENN. then villanova, temple, and ru-c which are all pretty much the same. then comes widener. i have heard that it is not so difficult to transfer from widener, if you do well. good luck on the rest of your apps.

NorCal schools are far harder to get into than their southern counterparts, I think. It seems you want to stick in that area, so I'm sure you'll get into GG. You have great EC's too, Best of luck, and keep all of us posted! And if you like, check out my page of socal law school reviews. I'm sure you could get into CalWestern, if you have ever thought of SD.

Supergirluw, I think the school's pretty cool, quite frankly. Great location -- and not far from the beach (as if you'd have time for that!). What's more, the school has a fledgling sports law center that looks as though it's going to be a good one. But, wow, it sure is a great distance from where you are currently living. Best of luck.

We have similar #'s and as it seems we have had similar luck with the "stupid little white envelopes". Just wanted to say good luck on the rest of your apps! Hopefully USD will come through for both of us! Good luck!

I'm moving from Seattle to Florida as well. It should be a unique experience for us. Congrats on getting in and good luck on your decision!

I'm planning on leaving in mid July, I'm putting what I can fit in my car and heading across country. I may ship a few things also. It would cost way to much money to rent or pay for your stuff to be moved that far unless you have some really nice stuff imo. I've never been to Tallahassee, but I look at it as a fun experience. I'm looking foward to moving after living in Washington St. my whole life. I liked my time at UW and in Seattle, but being from eastern washington I miss the sunny days and I'm looking forward to that again.

I am elated. Been drinking for two days straight... Not saying that is a good thing, just my reality for the past few days. So, Supergirl, I have followed your profile this whole cycle. I think that you should take this offer, do well, transfer, and as you say above, "make it happen" We all know that we are smart enough, and can do it, so long as we are disciplined. Thats what I hear from ALL my friends and people I know that have gone through law school. Disciplin, discipline, disciplin... I might be spelling that word wrong... oh well. Anyway, you will make it. Screw the LSAT, just go and make so...

It's looking like I'll be going to Florida Coastal as well although I want to be in California. I'm still waiting on Chapman, but I'm not counting on it. Probably going to try to transfer out to Cali after my first year. It's nice to know that someone is in the same boat as me. Stay in touch.

I cannot believe that Santa Clara is taking so much time in getting back to you. It's appalling. I wish you all the best of luck with them! And if they say no, you have Florida Coastal, and you can GO TO LAW SCHOOL! i am in the same position with Hastings/Golden Gate. So I totally understand. Hang in there, Holly

Hi. Well, it was a regular legal-sized envelope. The letter was odd. It stated that I did not get accepted, and fewer than 5% of applicants with LSAT scores below 155 are accepted. I was advised to retake the LSAT and resubmit the LSAC report. But still, a rejection letter.

I recieved a standard letter. Didn't know it was anything special until I opened it. Best of luck.

They sent me an email and then called. I missed the phone call and had to call back. It went well but I have to let them know by noon tomorrow! I'm kinda torn right now. Good luck to you!

You asked me about getting off the waitlist...well I went to their contacts section on the website and emailed one of the admissions people about my continued interest in attending, about 48 hours later I got a call from that person telling me i was in! So thats my suggestion on how to get off the waitlist and onto the accepted list. I will probably attend. That and USD are my top choices, but I have friends in Nor Cal so i'll probably go there. not even gonna wait out santa clara? regardless, nice going on la verne. my grandma went there for UG and loved it. i am waiting for a miracle from my waitlists, but i am being realistic about it. i got my financial aid package from UND today, and that made me kind of excited. they have an exchange program with the university of oslo in norway so there's another incentive to go. -30 degrees every day during the winter will be a challenge, but that's all the more reason to stay inside studying. check my page in a month or 2 and see if i got lucky though.

I took my LSAT at ULV. The campus is small. It's not attached to the main university campus. Its in downtown Ontario but downtown Ontario is pretty small. In the I.E. which is an ever expanding suburbia that has no soul. But you'll see for yourself. I have a freind that is an entering 3L there and he seems to like it fine. I guess we'll just have to see for ourselves.

Are you going to the summer session prep class dealo at ULV?

I sent in my deposit but I'm having second thoughts. I'm gonna to wait and see...I doubt any other schools with come through. I am very tempted to retake the LSAT and reapply next cycle. How about you? Will you be attending for sure?

Yeah, I'll be doing the class. Although I'm growing frustrated, as the first day of calss nears I have still not heard from three schools. Aaargh!
