Louisiana State - ADMIT (67%) - Accepted (with scholly)
Arkansas Fayetteville - STRONG CONSIDER (57%) - Accepted(with scholly)

Applied late to the cycle for 2010. I was wait-listed at William and Mary, UF, UGA, and Minnesota. I was rejected from FSU and Georgia State. No acceptances due to late applications (I hope).

*Scholarships are total scholarship money over 3 years (I did this because the UArk scholarship is not a set amount per year, the bulk comes the first year, then the rest is divided among the last 4 semesters...weird).

12/18/10 - Waitlist letter came in the mail from George Mason today. The letter is personalized, which is a nice touch. Will be withdrawing my application.

12/28/10 - Getting tired of the Holidays. It sucks to have to wait for Admission Office staff to come back for the Holidays to expect any real news. Though I did see that both my UF and UGA apps have been reviewed, and are being held for further review.

1/4/11 - Email today from Ole Miss telling me that their office should be finished moving this week...thanks for getting my hopes up guys.

1/11/11 - Finally got an email today from LSU telling me how to check my status online. File is under review as of 12/9. Ole Miss File is in 'pre-evaluation.' If anyone knows what that means let me know. Different schools it could mean different things.

1/14/11 - Accepted to LSU via email, says acceptance package to follow in the mail.

1/16/11 - PHONE CALL FROM ALABAMA!!! I AM ACCEPTED!!! HOLY CRAP I GOT INTO ONE OF MY REACH SCHOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

1/18/11 - Just informed by associate dean of admissions at Alabama that I have been offered a $15k per year scholarship!!!!!!! I literally asked them if they were sure they had the right person, lol.

1/21/11 - Visited Alabama. Loved the school, Loved the faculty. This is my top choice as of now.

1/31/11 - Waitlisted at Ole Miss via snail mail. Will be withdrawing my app.

2/1/11 - Rejection letter from Tulane. Bummer, I won't have to go live in a crappy city and pay a ridiculously high tuition for a mediocre law degree that really doesn't travel well out of the region.

2/11/11 - Email from LSU today telling me that I have been awarded a scholarship. No amount on the email, the email just says I will be receiving an letter in "the coming days."

2/18/11 - Rejected from Georgia State via email. Wow, there are no words.

2/21/11 - Letter from LSU offering a $45K scholarship

2/23/11 - email from Florida Coastal increasing my scholarship to $45k

2/28/11 - Accepted to UGA. Hmm...accepted to UGA, rejected from GSU...something's wrong with this picture. My stats in my opinion aren't high enough for them to yp themselves, so, whats the deal?

3/18/11 - Accepted to FSU via phone call. Attending!!

3/21/11 - Sent out Decline emails to all schools to which I applied with the exception of FSU (because I am attending), and GSU and Tulane (because they rejected me, and that would obviously be pointless). Also, I called and talked to Alabama personally because their admissions office was awesome, and I really appreciated their understanding and support. If it weren't for the fact that I have a son in tallahassee, they would have been my top choice. If you have the opportunity to go there, definitely go!

4/19/11 - Accepted to FIU today...only problem is, the person who called me is the same person who sent me an email thanking me for notifying them of my intent to withdraw my application a month ago. Maybe they just really want me to change my mind? I only updated my status for those who have similar stats and would like to have an idea of their chances at FIU.
