11/17 Got waitlisted at Washington and Lee. Letter in the mail from the dean. Invited for a waitlisted student campus visit.

11/18 Got accepted to FIU. Scholarship info should arrive in the mail soon.

11/21 University of Virginia sent me a really nice rejection email. No big deal, only applied because they reached out to me with a fee waiver.

11/26 Officially received acceptance letter from FIU. It states that any scholarships will be offered around January. Not my first choice but its nice to at least know that I will be going to law school this year.

11/29 Received a call from Dean Rahman of the University of Richmond . Very happy to have received news that I have been accepted. So far it is a great cycle for me.

11/29 Received a Dean's Scholarship offer from FIU. 10,000 a year if I maintain a 2.9 GPA.

12/2 Got An Acceptance email from American University, super psyched! This is one of my two dream schools!

12/7 Accepted to University of Pittsburg via status checker.

12/12 Received Email from Dean of Admissions at George Washington that I had been waitlisted and should receive a response around March when they start reviewing again. There goes my number 1 choice. Ill stay on the waitlist for now and see.

12/13 Decided to withdrawal from Michigan State.

12/19 Got an email from Dean of Penn State saying I was accepted and formal acceptance letter with scholarship should arrive within the next few weeks. Really great holiday season so far with all these offers. Cant wait to see what new year brings.

12/20 Accepted to Catholic University Law via status checker. States that scholarship offer and admission packet has been sent out. DC is starting to look really good now.

12/22 Sent in application to University of Maryland. Received a fee waiver so decided to apply.

12/23 Officially under Review at Wake Forest.

1/13/12 Just got an admission packet from Penn State with scholarship so long as I maintain a 3.0 it is renewable. It is looking real tempting. Still under review at Wake Forest and waitlisted at Notre Dame. Expected a rejection so I am happy to be waitlisted.

1/16/12 Just got acceptance packet from Syracuse with shirt and bumper sticker. Gonna wait until scholarship offers come out in late February and see.

1/21/12 Just picked up the mail and found a small envelope from the University of Maryland. I have been Accepted! Letter says info from Financial Aid should come within the next few months. Great cycle so far. God has blessed me with so many opportunities!

1/27/12 Got rejected to Wake Forest. Whatever, only applied because they sent me several emails and fee waiver. I also got an email from American stating that scholarship info is expected to be sent out in March so gonna hold out on my decision for now.

2/3/12 Got rejection email from Boston. Doesn't matter, applied because of fee waiver.

2/6/2012 Got email from Temple. I have been accepted. Should be expecting packet within the next week. This has been a great cycle. God has blessed me with more that I could hope for.

2/13/12 Just got acceptance packet from Temple in the mail. 10k a year scholarship for 3 year total of 30k with a 2.5 GPA stipulation.

2/20/12 Got Waitlisted at Fordham via status checker, really surprised since I applied really late and to the full time program. I was expecting an outright rejection so Im happy with this waitlist.

2/21/12 I have decided to attend the University of Maryland Law School!I have received a Leadership Scholars Scholarship redeemable for all three years of law school.

2/24/12 Although my cycle is over I wanted to add one final acceptance that I received. University of Maine Law via status checker.

3/7/12 Just got letter from Syracuse, received Deans Scholarship of 27,000 per year .Not a bad way to end cycle.

3/12/12 Got 10k a year scholarship offer from University of Maine.

3/13/12 Just checked US News Ranking and happy to report that Maryland has moved up to 39. Really great motivation to know that the school is moving on up!

3/20/12 Last school on list sent reply today, Emory has waitlisted me .

06/05/12 Just got amazing news. I have been admitted off the George Washington University waitlist! Need to seriously evaluate my opportunities.

6/13/12 So after some much needed soul searching and speaking with various attorneys and colleagues that know much about GW I have decided to attend this fall. It was always my top choice and I cannot wait to begin! May everyone have success as I have in my cycle. This experience has taught me so much. Never give up on your dreams and always reach for what you want, you never know what will happen!
