still deciding between cls or ucla? that's a toughie. is it just the columbia name that's making you hesitate?

I'm coming from undergrad at Columbia, and am almost certain I'll be going to UCLA next year (and, like you, I'll be choosing it over some higher ranked schools). Just be sure to listen to your instincts - don't be romanced by rankings, because rankings won't help you if you're miserable and hating a school, regretting your choice. Go where you know you'll be happiest and do your best. For me that's going to be UCLA, and I hope it is for you too!!

Hi, I've seen your profile before and I noticed you made your decision of UCLA over Columbia. I'm not exactly in your position (I'm waitlisted at Columbia...), but I'd be really interested to know your thoughts on both schools and why you chose LA. Thanks :)
