I got waitlisted at American this past Friday and was happy that they didn't reject me outright. What do you think the odds are of getting in to American off the waitlist? Did you send your form back w/ the "willing to do either day or part-time" crossed off? I did.

^ I didn't send back the waitlist form, reason being that: -I probably won't go there anyway, given that I have a scholarship at Campbell -Being waitlisted means I probably will not get a scholarship (since I didn't get in outright), and it's just way too expensive As far as getting in off the waitlist, I think it really depends on the class size they are looking for, versus the number of people on the waitlist. If your numbers are relatively god among the waitlisted people, you have a shot. It also depends on how long it takes them to send you a final answer. The longer they take, the more dropouts there will be. But as far as American's specifics beyond that, I'm not sure.

They gave me $10k/year, and it's renewable all 3 years. I sent in my seat deposit but since I haven't yet heard back from UNC and Wake Forest waitlisted me, I'm not totally sure I'm going there.

Hey, did you end up getting in to UNC? What about Campbell? I'm going to Campbell this fall and am looking to make friends. I also applied to UNC but got rejected. Good luck!

Congratulations!

Thanks for the message. I hope things workout too. Hope to see you in Columbia. And gain a couple of seats in the House!
