Additional info & updates

6/7/2006 - Still having the toughest time choosing between USD and Cardozo. NY and the $$$ sound great, but I eventually want to end up in CA. SD wasn't really a top choice as a city (SF/LA more desirable for me), but I find myself leaning ever so slightly towards San Diego as of now. Any thoughts welcome

6/21/2006 - Spoke with Jannell Lundy at Loyola Admissions, found out that I got in off the waitlist! what a relief

I called them yesterday because I hadn't received a decision (Got the email on friday, and it said I would hear a decision in a couple days once I confirmed my continuing interest). I can't really say that the reconfirmation email means you're a lock to get in, but its a good sign nonetheless right? Just the fact that they're picking you as one of the people they're choosing to reevaluate out of the countless on that list? The only thing you can do is give them a prompt and direct response stating that you're still interested and that you would definitely accept, since thats mainly what they're looking for at this point I believe. GOOD LUCK

the snail mail is taking a long time to get to the East Coast, where I'm at right now I actually browsed craiglist last night and found a roommate! We're gonna be living at a place called "Park La Brea" that's about 5-6 miles away from school. I google earthed the driving route and it looks like the commute will be through K-town. From what I hear, the food in K-town is better than Korea itself!! Sooooo excited :-)
