1/2: Big envelope from Temple unexpectedly offering full-tuition scholarship.

1/20: In at Emory via oversized bright yellow envelope.

1/27: Personal letter from Pepperdine signed by Ken Starr; multiple references to praying and the Almighty.
2/4: Waitlisted at Notre Dame.

3/12: Email from Tulane letting me know my application "has been submitted to the committee for review." About damn time.
3/16: Tulane status checker changes to Accepted.
3/20: In at Tulane via canvas tote bag, offering $30k/yr Dean's scholarship.
3/25: Withdrew from GW.
3/30: Waitlisted at Vanderbilt.
3/31: Withdrew from Hastings, Alabama, American, Emory, Temple and Pepperdine.
4/6: Waitlisted at WUSTL. Schools in the middle of nowhere seem not to like me very much.
4/7: Dinged at Columbia.
4/15: Withdrew from Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, WUSTL and Tulane.
4/16: Deposited at Georgetown.
4/24: Dinged at Harvard.
4/27: Nothing yet from USC -- WTF?
4/29: Over three weeks after sending a rejection letter, Columbia emails me to let me know my file is complete. Jilted, I smile at their incompetence.
5/2: Dinged at USC.
Congrats on all of your acceptances. Were you surprised to receive no $$$ offers other than Temple? We have the same numbers, and I'm getting worried at this point. Thinking I may have overreached on school rankings and screwed myself out of a FinAid offer elsewhere. Have you made a decision? Good luck, wherever you go!
