Additional info & updates

*I really, REALLY want to go to UVA but in the meantime, I've submitted my deposit to GULC. If UVA gives me a definite no, I'll be in DC this fall.

*2/26/08 - Finally waitlisted at UVA.Very sad about the waitlist, it was definitely a top choice and would allow me to be closer to my family.

*1/27/09 - In at GW via email.

*1/8/09 - Wondering why I haven't gotten a decision from American or UVA. The are two of my top choices and the wait is killing me slowly....

* 12/23 - In at Duke via "Welcome to Duke Law" email!!!! Also received additional info from Maryland in the mail.

*12/20 - Accepted to Maryland via small envelope in mail. Almost panicked at small size but calmed down when I saw "Congratulations" written on the outside.

Also notified of Beasley Scholarship at Temple. A full ride!!! I was so not expecting that!!

*12/19 - In at Temple via status checker. According to the site, my packet was mailed on 12/16.

*12/14 - Changed my mind about additional apps. I know that I have no intention of moving to Lexington, VA or Nashville, TN.

*12/13 - Accepted at Catholic via large envelope in mail.

*12/9 - No calls, emails, or letters in my mailbox. All is quiet and it's driving me crazy.

*12/3 - Received fee waiver from Washington & Lee, I think I'll go ahead and send in an application. I also think I'll apply to Vandy. On a separate note, I'm starting to worry about American. Where is my decision?!?

*12/1 - Received fee waivers from USC and Vanderbilt over the holiday weekend. Also received an invitation to apply from Stanford. I'd love to apply to all of those schools but my husband is not having it!! CA and TN are just too far away.

*11/25 - GEORGETOWN!!!! OMG!! I am still shaking. Acceptance came today in a card-sized envelope w/ personal note from the dean.

*11/22 - Accepted to Baltimore. Small white envelope w/ letter dated 11/20/08.

*11/15 - most applications are out. Yale, Penn and Michigan will go out soon after my 100th edit to my ps/ds/yale 250. Hope to have them out by 11/22.

*11/3 - Sent some applications.

*10/30 - Finally received letter from last recommender.

*7/2008 - Decided to reach for the stars and expand my list of applications. 12 in all.

*3/2008 - I'm not completely happy with my Feb 2008 score as I was testing much higher in my preps. But I've always sucked at standardized tests so this is probably the best I can do for now.

*12/2/2007 - the stomach flu destroyed my December 2007 retake and pushed me into the 2008-2009 cycle.
