Extra Curricular Information

I graduated from a Florida school with a major in Psychology and History and a minor in Women's Studies.

I was vice president of my sorority, order of omega and a rho gamma.

I also worked at a research lab in my university for 2 years as a independent fellow researcher.

For the past two years I have worked for a biglaw and as of this year was promoted as a Senior Partner Paralegal.

I took the Feb LSAT and so I understand that I applied later in the cycle, but so far I am content with the responses of Schools.

Additional info & updates

5-1 cycle over i don't care about the other pending schools off to loyola! i'm happy about it!!!!

btw i'm still missing the financial information, i'll put up soon and put the rest of the schools statuses when they come in...

4-20 I'm really looking forward to ending my cycle i think it's a little ridiculous that its almost may and i'm still waiting!!!

4-9 i got into Nebraska, not my favorite especially since i got into chicago which is a lot more fun than Nebraska. Plus I'm still bitter that they sent me TWO deferral letters! Damn Cornhusks!

4-8 depressed where is fsu????

4-7 i got an email today from penn and they told me that i got deferred admittance for 2009... still thinking about what to do

4-4 What the ??!?!?! I got rejected from Maryland which is okay I didn't like the campus after visiting and was suggested to not go so I was planning on withdrawing...

I got waitlisted from Depaul? After getting into Loyola?!?! how does that make sense?!?! lol... w/e I gues

4-2 Free ride at Drexel... going to have to check it out sometime soon, but I really am dying... still waiting on Penn... decided today that I am going to go see Loyola in May

4-1 FIRST GOOD SCHOOL LOYOLA YAYYYY

3-30 I have officially gotten into all of my safeties and now i'm waiting on my top choices. I think I decided to give Hofstra my seat deposit for a just in case scenario which bums me out a bit considering it is a whopping $850 which I find a bit steep for a seat deposit but it must be done. I am preparing myself to not hear anything for a while since schools are getting responses from seat deposits.

3-24 my first rejection from GM ... W/e i'm not crying their campus is pretty shitty i wasn't impressed when i visited

CMON SCHOOLS WHERE ARE U!?!?!

3-20-08 NEBRASKA deferred me? what the f*ck!?!?!

3-19-08 so far got into four schools with scholarships...but these are my safeties! where are my number 1s??? i am looking into hofstra though i think that they are great for sending me so much info...

3-15-08 I got my first acceptance!!! from new england and i got a full ride! this is my safety, but i'm happy about the full ride!!!

2-29-08 received fee waivers for Drexel and Maryland so I decided to apply...

got my first email from a school GMU saying I'm complete

Thanks for your message. I am leaning for Temple right now, but I want to see the fin aid packages of some other schools and the decision from Davis. Then I would make a decision

about hofstra

i visited on my own while at the ny auto show last week. nice place actually. long island looks like a lot of typical suburbs. the cost is just overwhelming though. plus i did get a chance to speak candidly with some students about job prospects. finding a job for students who do well wasn't the issue, it was the location. while a move is possible, they said for the most part i had better be at least somewhat ok with practicing law in long island or at least the outskirts. while i enjoyed my visit, i couldn't yet contemplate a career in the area. i've met some local psu alums who actually made the trek down south after graduating from there. that seemed a more reasonable possibility. psu places in philly and northern maryland as well and i'm ok with either for a few years. so that's my decision so far but i've been flipping back and forth as rejections and offers come through so who knows...
