Originally applied to BC & NE two years ago. Was priority waitlisted at BC and was rejected at NE (completely backwards, I know).
After 2.5 years as a paralegal, switched out of Law into business, but I've found that I miss the Law.
Now that the ABA has gotten on board with most other graduate programs in accepting the highest test score, retaking the LSAT in December.
12/01 -- Retook the LSAT. The RC sucked.
12/04 -- Big letter from Northeastern..... and it's financial aid info.
12/08 -- I want to know where some people find the money to apply to 15+ schools?
12/15 -- Letter from BC. They will be re-looking at my application at the start of the spring semester and will make their decision by Feb 29th. Hopefully my LSAT will come back strong and push me in.
12/20 -- Got my new LSAT by email, 164!!! Hopefully this will push me into BC!!!
1/16 - Thick regular sized letter from Northeastern, I'm in with scholarship! It's great to get the first (and hopefully not last) acceptance behind me. Also called BU and I'm finally complete. The dingleberry I was dealing with at my college who was suppossed to send the Dean's Certificate took over a month to send it in. Hopefully they will still find room for me. All around this is a very good day!
1/31 -- Big envelope from Suffolk. No money, and I won't attend with the NE acceptance + scholarship $$$. Strangely enough, they sent the wrong form letter. Apparently I have not received my undergraduate degree yet, and I will need to send them copies of my final transcripts if I decide to attend ::shakes head::
2/20 -- Come home to 8x10 envelope from BC and I'm in! This has been an incredible cycle (especially considering my luck last time around).
4/4 -- Attended BC admitted students open house, and met at least 4 other people who haven't heard a #&^@ing word from BU. Even though I'm going to BC, at this point I want BU to spend the money on postage or a phone call to provide some justification for giving them $75 to sit around for over 4 months.
