10-27-09: Dinged at UVA via email. Not entirely unexpected (OOS), just thought I'd have a chance at the waitlist.
11-09-09: In at UGA - first acceptance feels nice. Athens is a contender, but they don't have a lot of schollys. Waiting for scholly info. Status checker then big envelope w/bumper sticker.
11-12-09: Dinged at UT via letter/status checker. Again, not unexpected, but they were so fast in their turnaround that my impression is that the application review was, shall we say, less than holistic.
11-18-09: In at Alabama with a full-ride. Love their admissions office... they really know how to make students feel wanted. Impressed. T-shirt, law review, etc.
11-20-09: In at Iowa, waiting for scholly info, told ~Jan 15th. Letter was slightly harsh in its tone, felt like I was in trouble, not congratulated!
--- long wait -- nothing - nothing - nothing but waiting---
12-19-09: in at Indiana-Bloomington. Phew, nice to get news.
12-20-09: In at Temple via status checker (followed up with big envelope. Scholly info couple weeks later via mail.
1-07-10: In at Pepperdine. Status checker went to "Decision Rendered" then packet arrived a few days later. Scholly came with the package.
1-11-10: In at UC Hastings via snail mail (they don't have a status checker). No scholly info included.
1-11-10: UC Berkeley emailed to tell me I've made it to Faculty Review. WOW - still in the game!
1-14-10: IN AT UC IRVINE! Got the call. Very happy.
1-15-10: In at Univ. of Arizona with a Dean's Scholarship -- first heard through status checker, then received letter a few days later with nice hand-written note from the Dean.
1-25-10: Univ. of Arizona scholarship award letter came in the mail -- $25,000 with no contingencies except staying in good academic standing.
1-31-10: In at Arizona State with $15,000 scholly.
2-1-10: Dinged at UCLA (expected with my GPA) via snail mail (thin envelope)
2-5-10: scholly from UGA, in-state equalization. pretty good but not enough. came via snail mail, small envelope.
1-30-10: Forgot to mention I'm "On Hold" at Harvard. Good news for me (look at my numbers, you'll see what I mean), but a long wait is likely for any further news.
2-18-10: IN AT BERKELEY - Boalt Hall via email. *Speechless*.
2-19-10: Rejected at Duke, status checker said: Decision Made/you'll be notified shortly. Email shortly after.

2-22-10: Actually sent in the bulk of withdrawals. Ws have been up for a while, but had put off sending them because it's hard to give up options!

3-5-10: In at UNC. Would've been so excited about that a month or two ago. Withdrew immediately.
