I just sent in my deposit there. I am 90% sure I will be attending barring any crazy scholarship offers from Hofstra. I love the school. The faculty, students and alumni are great. I look forward to seeing you there.

Man, I loved Columbia and you already kno how I feel about New York, but I don't think I can turn down Yale. I'm gonna go to New Haven in two weeks, so I'll get to see how it feels there. I still can't believe I got in!

I've lived in many areas inside and outside of Boston and I hands down prefer Quincy. Quincy is a small town approx 15 minutes South of Boston. In this town, you will find new buildings, cheaper rent and better amenities. Email me if you need any further assistance.

Like MLawSchool said...try living on the outskirts of Boston, the T (Train)is an easy thing to take and get used to. Somerville, Brookline, and as MLawSchool said Quincy are some places to think about

Congratulations to you too on Suffolk. I was excited as well to see it had moved up to tier 3. I think it's a good school, regardless of ranking, and I'm not too sure if you have seen it, but the building itself is really nice. I actually do not work at JPM anymore. I did the 10 week summer program in Wilm, DE, where I live and now am at ING Direct. I look forward to seeing you this fall.

All areas are expensive, but the T is great, as is the commuter-rail so I would consider living outside the city. I suggest areas just north of the city such as Somerville, Malden or Medford. These places are little quieter and a little cheaper. I may be commuting from Southern Maine or NH via the Downeaster train...its still TBD. Hope this helps. E-mail me if you have other questions.

Looking to live around the back bay or north end of downtown Boston. Want to live close the first year.

I actually did the same thing. I hope I have the same outcome. BTW, when did you ask for re-consideration? I asked on the 10th of this month. Also, is any of the money renewable?
