You have alot of good choices so far. Thanks for the comment, and I'll keep an eye out on your profile and root for you at Harvard and Stanford!

Oh wow our numbers are similar, similar time of application, and same alma mater! Good luck on your (our) cycle!

Congrats on the good news at GT and Vandy! I'm jealous of your choices lol.

I am seriously nervous about faculty review. I think that in faculty review, essays/softs are stronger considerations and I don't think mine are going to make me stand out. BOO!! But my numbers are on the low side for berkeley anyways

Yes, we are

having similar cycles. I'm registered for one of the Michigan ASWs, but money's a HUGE consideration for me, and I'm just not sure I can swing UM (plus, it's in Michigan). Planning on visiting the DC schools, Texas and 1-2 others once I hear from more about $. Where are you leaning?

Michigan ASW

LOL, we'll surely spot each other if we do! I'm so hyped for Michigan's ASW, but my ticket from LA is sooo expensive, ugh. I'm still hurting. Did you register for first or second ASW?

UVA

I'm still AMAZED. I expected absolutely nothing from them! UCLA and UVA are roughly equally priced now, so it's looking like it might be UVA! :D

So I see you withdrew from some schools. Have you made up your mind on where you are going?

Haha about the healthcare comment in your info. Big +1 to the single payer, but in 10 years more reform will be needed and then *fingers crossed* Looks like its Duke for sure for me now, visited Mich yet?

100% Duke
Sunday, December 20 2009 at 07:00 PM

Nope no waitlists for me. The cost of attending any of the schools I have left vs. the benefits I would get doesn't move me away from Duke. Columbia would be great if possible, but I would be happier at Duke.
