Additional info & updates

Alright, so I've been remiss in updating this part of my profile. Here's what's happened in this cycle:

11/1: Sent in my applications. It felt really good.
See above for different complete dates.
11/09: Under review at Berkeley
11/11: Under review at Harvard
11/17: Received JR1 email from Harvard with an interview time.
11/19: 8 minute phone interview with Harvard.
11/20: Under review at Georgetown and Duke
11/23: JR2 CALL FROM HARVARD!! I'M ACCEPTED!!!
11/23: Also, off-campus interview for Northwestern. Very chill, 2 hours long though!!
11/30: Decision Rendered on Georgetown status checker (but no word on what it is!) and under review at UPenn.
12/3: Accepted at Georgetown via a small, thank you card sized envelope.
12/8: Accepted at NYU via a BIG purple envelope. I had never gotten the complete email, so that was a total surprise.
12/15: Accepted at Duke via email. Status checker had changed to decision rendered at about 10am, and I didn't get the email until 9:05 pm.
12/17: Accepted at UPenn via phone call!!! The man was incredibly nice and helpful.
11/11: Accepted at Berkeley via email!!
1/25: Accepted at Columbia via mail ~$80,000 scholarship!
2/3: Waitlisted at Northwestern via email.
2/5: Accepted at University of Chicago via phone call.
2/23: $90,000 scholarship at U Chicago via email.
3/10: Waitlisted at University of Virginia
4/1: Withdrew from Georgetown, Duke, NYU, and UVA
4/10: Accepted at UCLA via phone call. Not quite enough to soothe the sting of no call from Yale, but Dean Schwartz was very nice and is going to find out about scholarships for me.
4/15: Officially waitlisted at Yale. Offered the Levy at Penn. Accepted at Alabama with a full tuition scholarship and a stipend for books.
4./16: Waitlisted at Stanford
4/27: Made my final choice (barring waitlist movement) and deposited at Harvard. Excited, but also sad to walk away from Columbia. Also withdrew from U Chicago, Alabama, and UC Berkeley
5/25: Holy cow!! In off the waitlist at Stanford!!!! Stanford has always been my number one, but now I've talked myself into Harvard. GAH!
6/7: Made my final (for real this time) decision and accepted Stanford's offer off the waitlist, withdrawing from Harvard. Tough choice, but Stanford is definitely a peer school, and I think I'll do better in a smaller environment. Good luck to whomever takes my spot at HLS!

You're having a great cycle yourself. Good luck with Stanford and Yale; maybe I'll see you at HLS next year. Not such a bad third option, I think.

Congrats on the great cycle!! Had similar numbers and timing as you and got waitlisted at UVA too, can't believe how many really great candidates they're waitlisting this year! :-( Any thoughts on where you want to go? Good luck!

but that's a good problem to have : ) On one hand there's Harvard, but then again your Columbia scholarship is out of control haha. Good luck with the decision making!

Did you get the notification via email or snail mail? Trying to figure out what sort of mail I should be obsessing over. Ha.

Hey, we're having pretty similar cycles. Best of luck with Stanford!
