The Timeline
--------
Sometime: Stanford rejection.
---------
2/25 Minnesota - big envelope acceptance, money offered (er, less money asked for). First confirmation that I didn't make a huge mistake on my application or have some auto-reject aspect to my profile.
---------
3/3 Called BYU--never heard back about application completion. Was told they had overlooked my app, which had been complete since 1/29. Said they were "glad I called about it." Yowza. That's likely karma for when I applied there as an UG and turned my application in late, then had to rely on their mercies to get admitted for fall instead of Winter.
---------
3/9 BYU - acceptance by email, letter to follow via USPS
--------
Sometime after 3/9: rejections by Georgetown, NYU, and Michigan. And Chicago. Let's not forget Chicago.
--------
3/28 UVa email - decision is on its way.
---------
3/29 Yale rejection. I thought it would be a small envelope, but instead, flying outside my office building was a small airplane with a banner advertisement that said, "Highway61, Please Do Not Join Us At Yale This Fall!" So that's what they do with the app money.
---------
3/31 UVa small envelope of death. Goodbye, Charlottesville, I hardly knew ye.
---------
4/3 Columbia rejection in small envelope.
---------
4/18 Northwestern rejection via online status dealio
---------
4/18-ish Harvard rejection
---------
5/5 Penn rejection in envelope

Minnesota is it!

You should go to MN, and withdraw from BYU to open up a spot for me :)

Sorry about Yale

This means the Yale rejections have finally gotten to the area (crap!). Anyway, congrats on MN and BYU. Which way are you leaning?

I'm pretty certain I'll go to Minnesota, unless other schools come through.
