Hey, I saw that you got a 162 again. I gained 2 points up to 164, which was frustrating for me, especially since I don't already have a T25 w/money in the bag! Glad it's done though, as I'm sure you are.

Who knows. I'm deferred at UT and SMU and the only school I'm in, that I would attend, is South Texas. So unless one of those 2 schools let me in, it's off to Houston.
I think you have a great chance at UT-Austin. You have a MUCH higher GPA and I applied at the very last minute. I think the 65-70% in-state will be kind to both of us!
It was a big envelope w/ a folder with info on the school and Austin. No swag to speak of though. I currently live about 45 mins away so yours might be on its way still!
I'm sure a lot of people say this, but I have some fairly significant softs.
for the congrats on Texas, Im def. leaning towards Texas, even though UIUC and SMU money is attractive. Good luck with UT and congrats on UIUC.

Thanks, hkm! I guess the username really derives from my first cycle. I, like you, took the LSAT twice. Actually, it looks like we both got the same score the first time. I don't know about you, but I hadn't had a score that low since my very first diagnostic, so I was really unhappy about it .... hence "woe is me". I applied to schools, but in the end decided to try again (like you). I just never changed my user name. I really don't know where I'll end up. Right now, I'm leaning ever so slightly towards Cornell, ... but I have in no way made up my mind. Washington University is also very tempting. What about you?
Well, I have a deposit down at WUSTL and Cornell, ... and I'm thinking it's going to be Cornell! :) Looks like U of I for you, eh? I'm from Illinois ... basically everyone I know has gone through there ... good place, good choice (and goos scholarship) :)
