Point taken, but I'm applying places based on quality of the school, not the football program...
No, I am still applying ED, but I am worried that adcoms from other schools will recognize my profile and auto-ding me. Probably stupid, but can't be too safe.

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. I hope you all get into your dream schools (whatever they may be) because it is a great feeling to know you woulnd't rather be anywhere else. Not too bad to be done with the cycle so early either....
As for being the first GULC waitlist, and second string waitlist at that, I gotta say that it doesn't break my heart. In fact, I laughed out loud when I read it because I had received my Mich acceptance an hour earlier. It would have been harder to deal with without the acceptance, however. It just goes to show how arbitrary the process is, and I'm glad our stats aren't simply fed into a computer and a letter generated. Even if some some schools appear to operate that way...
Congrats on your dream school! I've heard nothing but great things about Michigan, enjoy the rest of your year (no more stress!)
I do not like football. If there is anyone out there picking schools based on the sports...I feel sorry for you. Maybe I should have named myself IHeartUMichLawSchool

I'll be joining your son there shortly. ct - Still not sure about the preview...don't know if I should attend bc I am committed to going and already signed a housing lease, so I'm not sure if the preview is worthwhile. If anyone knows whether the preview offers more than a guided tour, housing info and reasons to attend, let me know.
if michigan were really your dream school, you wouldn't be applying to OHIO STATE!!
