I currently work as a DJ for a radio station and at a record company. I am ideally interested in going into entertainment law. I also worked for the ACLU, was a Medical Assistant in college, and was a house manager.

As you can see I am applying to a ton of places. It's a shotgun approach. I was pretty late getting my applications in (it's a long story), but I hope it doesn't dash my chances.

1/29/09 - Just got accepted by email to Washington and Lee. Yay! My first response and it was an acceptance!

2/01/09 - Accepted to UC Hastings by mail. I must have gotten the letter a couple of days ago, but it was weirdly jammed in my mailbox, so I only noticed it today.

2/02/09 - Waitlisted at Duke by email. "Priority Reserve", whatever that means.

2/03/09- Accepted to Santa Clara by a (very poorly worded) email. $9,000 scholarship.

2/05/09 - Accepted to Emory by mail. It was a big yellow envelope with the words "Summons Requested" on it. $15,000 scholarship.

2/11/09 - Accepted to U Illinois by email with a $15,000 scholarship. Rejected by UC Berkeley by their online status checker thingy. Disappointing, as it was my first choice, but not unexpected.

2/19/09 - Accepted to Tulane by email. Waitlisted by UVA by email.

2/21/09 - Got my Tulane acceptance letter in the mail. $25,000 scholarship. But the weird thing is that it came in like a cloth package that you had to cut open and invert into a tote bag. Very strange.

2/27/09- Got my University of Florida acceptance letter in the mail. Big envelope.

3/05/09 - Waitlisted by UT Austin according to their status checker. I'm a bit surprised because I thought I had a decent chance to get in there.

3/10/09 - Got a phone call from Boston U telling me that I was admitted. My first phone call acceptance. It was an interesting experience.

3/18/09 - Got an acceptance email from Washington University SL.

3/20/09 - Got my NYU rejection letter today, as expected.

3/26/09 - Got waitlisted by Northwestern today. I am actually a bit surprised that I did not get rejected since I did not do the "optional" interview.

3/27/09 - Got waitlisted by U Michigan today by email. Rejected from Georgetown by mail, which is a bit surprising, as I thought that I would get waitlisted.

4/06/09 - Got waitlisted by UCLA.

4/11/09 - Got waitlisted by Columbia! Was pretty sure I was gonna get rejected.

4/13/09 - Waitlisted by Notre Dame today. I withdrew from the waitlist as I have already gotten in to higher ranked schools.

5/08/09 - Accepted by Cornell by email! Yay! Ivy League here I come! Now I will just have to sell a kidney to pay for it...

5/12/09 - I hadn't heard from USC so emailed them about it. They told me I had been waitlisted a month ago. Weird, but they were very helpful about making sure that I immediately got on their waitlist before the 5/15 deadline.
